Screen replacement alternate source?
Screen replacement alternate source?
The touch part of the screen stopped working (touch works on the right edge only). Can move cursor with mouse attached. And all cables are securely attached. Having searched through the forums, I know this a common issue, but now the N2+ is out of warranty. Raise3D wants $425 for a replacement. Does anyone have any leads on a less expensive source for a screen replacement?

this is what the screen is but no one seems to have it in stock

I repair the electronics with new parts and make changes to prevent the problem happening again. If you want a repair please contact me.

Re: Screen replacement alternate source?
Just found this thread as I have the same problem. Super high replacement cost for a touch screen is making me think I should just replace the whole printer. I found this link and just reached out to them. Hopefully they still have stock and will ship to the US.

I do not know if this is allowed. A few people have wanted their screens fixed, but they said they cannot contact me.

Re: Screen replacement alternate source?
Would anyone still have their faulty n2 screen or pro screens, I have one of both and identified failed components on each. I just have no way to tell their values.
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Screen replacement alternate source?
I have an N2 and N2+ - I replaced the control boards so the screens are no longer plugged in. They worked fine at the time.
I can pull them out if anyone wants them. Just make an offer (via PM) that would make the effort to remove them worth my while.

Using a mouse is a good tip. My solution is to affix a cheap USB touchpad to the front of the machine (rotated 90 degrees to match the screen orientation).

We bought DT070DTFT-IPS-PTS, connected without an adapter. There is an image, but the sensor does not work.
How do we buy an adapter to make the sensor work on the screen? We are located in Russia, the city of Ufa. My email: simontrade@mail.ru

Re: Screen replacement alternate source?
Once I had a strange and I'm sure not a standard error!
I use a wireless mouse instead of a touchscreen and suddenly the batteries are dead in it ... =)
so I had to reboot the printer .
