troubles with Z axis

Postby DeX » Mon Apr 08, 2019 1:28 pm

How to find out if the left engine is working along the z axis?
It seems that he only follows right.

Just as the left has an idle move when moving up and down (is it normal?)
So at the beginning of printing, while the left one will catch up with the right ... printed at the same height.

I have another 3 working N2s. Not a noobie =)

Do you mean the Z axis doesn't move properly or nozzle jogging in Z height?
There only has one motor underneath the printer controlling the movement of Z axis, which should be located under ball-screw at right side. Beside that, there has pulleys and belt to have the other side ball-screw to rotate together with the left side one.
Only only side is moving properly now, please check the belt, pulley and couplers underneath the printer.

I mean, if you move the table up and down by 0.1mm on the touchscreen, I hear a sound, but there is no rotation of the guides. with a bigger step (1mm) - there is.
Inspected the bottom of the printer. The belt is very tight. Looks ok...
I must say - printer works 7days, only 2kg of filament used.

when lowering the table to the very bottom, all the way into the frame, it is clear that the left side is lower than the right (about 1mm).
(yes, these bolts are not tightened)

and I also want to say: after unpacking (used printer), I did not notice the stopper on the left side and the table tried to descend for 1-2 seconds until I turned off the printer.

new info:
1. went to z-home
2. on the touchscreen lowering the table by 0.1mm
3. it has a sound (0.1, 0.2, 0.3...) but only with 0.4mm all started to move down

I would recommend you contact our technicians at http://help.raise3d.com for further help. You may need to adjust the alignment of Z axis if judged as needed by our technicians.
