setting PID manually

Postby dmtulsa » Wed Jan 09, 2019 1:14 am

I did a search and didn't find guidelines on setting the PID values manually. Auto times out every time for some reason. Control is very good just at incorrect temp.
I ask for 208 temp but it only goes to 203 and print wont start. This has happened before and I don't know how but it just looses the settings. Firmware is 1.1.6 rev1 N2 Dual

Running auto-tune at 208C is a little bit too lower. For normal printing temperature, tuning around 240C should be good enough, unless you are going to use really high temperature.
Do you also have 5 degree off when trying to heat nozzle to higher temperature value? Or it will be a larger off?
