Cancel specific extruder during duplication or mirror print

Postby Aero3D » Fri Jul 24, 2020 9:27 pm

Having an E2 and just ordered a second one I was looking around at other options. One I considered was the Creator 3 and I discovered that one has the option, when using Duplication or Mirror mode, to cancel one of the extruders during a print should a model fail during printing. I'm not sure how often this may be necessary but thought it sounded like a great failsafe option to have.

Is Raise3D considering such an option and, if not, maybe you could do so for a future firmware update.

Thanks.

Would be a great option, I faced that issue already several time. My problem was related to the spoil of filament (cardbox) not to the printer, but I had always to cancel both print, a waste of time.

Searched but did not come across your post. Excellent, would be nice to have the option. The C3 just seemed to have too many bugs for me to get one and love m,y E2 :D

Would Raise like to comment on this as a possible future feature? Thanks.

This setting has already been added to the development list and hopefully, it can be implemented in a future firmware update.
