Just upgraded my Cheap Ender3 printer to Marlin's TH3d unified firmware.

One feature that I found super useful was something called "Babysteps"
It allows you to tweak Z zero after the print has begun. So you can dial it down or up by 0.025mm steps to dial in the platform stiction.
I usually use it while the skirt is printing to dial in the perfect first layer squeeze.

Please add this to the Touch screen software in the next revision as it would save a lot of time restarting prints and re-zeroing when it doesn't quite hit.

PS love my N2 plus... have run over 80 KG of filament through it so far.

There is a button to adjust the global Z offset slightly after print starts?

Really handy. Just tap the jog wheel and then you can dial the Z up-down in increments of 0.025. can be operated at any time during printing but I mostly just use it during skirt or raft print to fine tune the stick.

Excellent option on a $300 printer! My Ender 3 uses the Unified Th3D firmware ...basically the same on all the Chinese gantry printers.

Perhaps you could add it to the tune menu? Or better yet as an option on the home screen.

bad youtube video demoing it

marlin 1.1.9 : babysteeping on raise touch, linrear advance ,mesh levellling exist and works but not officially......
Raisetouch could manage those option, today adding a full reprap LCD helps to use those functions

We are certainly long overdue for a Marlin refresh on the N-series machines.

Unlikely we will see an update of Marlin now that the focus is on the Pro Series.

we could call it programmed obsolescence, the current economy wants that!
