Hi Jab136,
I do not believe our team has had a chance to test this material, Im sure someone else in the community may have an answer though.

Re: Surface quality on tall prints
For this issue, I would be inclined to believe that the printer is not at fault but the design its self is bound to have issues, @3dlabs, I would ask that if you are having something similar you post some pictures for us to reference.
Thank you,
Thank you,

Re: Resume function question
Hi Kencfii, Like @firesped mentioned, the battery backup is only for the touch screen and will only function to help power down the touch screen. At home I have my machine on a 1000 watt unit and have not had any issues so far. For now just plug directly into the wall and get your self running. We l...

Hi Jevans,
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner in the ticket, unfortunately this was not something I knew off the top of my head and would have to ask one of my colleges in the other office. The screw should be an M3x16.
Thank you,

@DeX,
This may seem complicated on your end but it is much simpler on ours to track at the moment. Please bear with us on this until we have a more streamline way of collecting the information.

PLA Defaults at 94% extrusion, after that you will need to adjust for your individual filament used.

Re: Couple of new owner questions comments
Hi Kencfii, Thank you for joining our community, we are glad to have you and look forward to answering your questions. X/Y Axis: The X and Y home position will be off the print bed as a precaution for the bed to not hit the nozzle and cause damage to the gantry. When checking the Z-Gap you may want ...

Re: will not turn off???
The reason the touch screen is trying to reboot is because of the power loss function in conjunction with the battery voltage being too low at the moment. Keep the printer on for a day or so and allow for the battery indicator to fill up (located in the top right of the touch screen). This will reso...

Re: Air Prints
The reason for the part failing after the raft is because the filament is being extruded at a high speed and when you exit the raft phase the next layers are slower allowing for heat to creep up the filament and premelt it in the barrel. Check your temp settings and make sure you are within spec on ...

Re: I’ve bought thermal insulation sheets and kapton tape. Now what?
I do not believe there should be any sort of calibration that goes on after this. You should be able to just print as normal, you will notice the nozzle temp not fluctuate as much.

There are 2 main types of beds, the early version is a 9 point system and the current version is a 13 point system.

Re: Filament Initial Contact with BuildTak Concern
@Casale8,
The way to prevent a missed first line of filament is the Brim/Skirt option of the print. Just like Rogman said, a fill volume skirt will only take up a few inches of material so the waste is well below the 1/10th of a percent of the spool.

Re: Filament Initial Contact with BuildTak Concern
The first thing I would recommend is "Picking the nose" of the nozzle before the print starts. This will reduce the chance of the filament curling up on the first extrusion. The filament not extruding right off the bat is because of the filament that drips out of the nozzle leaves a small ...

Re: Hitting support layers / ZHOP settings

Re: offset y layer consistent & repeatable
Hi Stewart, If it is on the same model every time you print but not on any other models then it might just be a software hiccup. Try reslicing the model, I tend to give the part an angle of 15* in x/y to change the pattern of the slice. In the past this helped remove the hiccup in the slice. @Tinker...

Hi AJM,
I tried what you said and ideaMaker was not allowing me to slice the file, if you could provide us with some information on how you got around this it will help quite a bit.
Thanks,

Re: problem with dense support settings (ABS/HIPS)
Hi Jab136,
I will need to consult with Vicky but I believe we ran into this issue once before and found it to be a bug at the time. From what I have seen it was not affecting the Dense Layer but just the normal support. I will check with her and we will update you when we can.
Thank you,
