Re: Palette+ and N2 Set up

For those of you who have the Palette+, what would you say your main uses of it are ? Better multi-color ? multi-material ? I don't run my printer as a business/service bureau, so I don't have a business need to justify it at the moment. Mosaic is having a 20% off sale right now though on the Palett...

Re: Improvements by using TMC2130 driver.

I'm looking at the Panucatt site right now. Is the Digipot version of the SD2224 compatible with the N2+ or do I want the manual adjustment version ? Manual. Okay, ordered. At $26 incl. shipping for two of them, like Jetguy said, how can you not ? This will probably be next weekend's upgrade. Got '...

Re: Storage Box For V2 Hot Ends

Only if they are exactly the same size/shape as the V2 hot ends. I do not think so ... The pro2 is slightly smaller in the heatsink and upper mounting boss, but the heater block is the same. Point being, I think it would fit or be relatively easy to adjust the size- just have "extra" room...

Re: Storage Box For V2 Hot Ends

It shouldn't be too hard to adjust the size of the various features since this is done in OpenSCAD.
I'll take a look at it this weekend if I have some time.

Finally got dual-extrusion working...

After a lot of testing and tweaking and some minor surgery on my Bondtech, I'm pretty confident that I have dual extrusion working reliably now.

Re: PolyFlex not loading after PLA

This is my first time with PolyFlex. I removed the PLA, did a cold pull with PLA, and then tried to load the PolyFlex at 245 (per @Julia Truchsess). All I get is clicks from the BondTech extruder. When I return to PLA, it extrudes just fine, so there is no blockage. I assume that there are dregs of...

Re: wipe wall

Do I want to be using a Wipe-Wall as well as a Wipe Tower for dual extrusion? I understand the purpose behind the Tower is to prime the nozzle during an extruder switch. Seems like maybe I should be using both ? Correct, you want wipe wall too. I would consider wipe tower "optional" and w...

Thanks for all of this.
I have an ASA project coming up.
Would you all say that "ASA Juice" is required as much as "ABS Juice" is for printing ABS ?

Re: Updating Dropbear SSH To Fix Vulnerability

If you'd like to test, we can develop a beta version for you to work with Dropbear SSH. It would also be useful for backups to have rsync installed on a future firmware update as well. May I ask the reason why you need to use rsync? For backup the files from touchscreen? Yes. So I can backup my pri...

I've not peered too extensively under the "Front Panel" hood, except to notice that it runs Linux and I can ssh into it. A quick poke at the OS reveals: root@imx6qdlsolo:~# uname -a Linux imx6qdlsolo 3.10.53 #72 SMP PREEMPT Sun Sep 6 16:25:47 CST 2015 armv7l GNU/Linux root@imx6qdlsolo:~# c...

Re: How do I change Tempurature Settings in Ideamaker?

For some boneheaded reason the filament/extruder temp setting are now in the tab labeled "Cooling". A BIG suggestion to Raise3D... learn about User-Centered Design! Yeah, I've never been able to figure out why this is called "Cooling" vs. "Temperature". I'm using 3.1.7...

Re: Bondtech Dual set-screw

The shortest ones I found on Amazon are 2.5mm long https://www.amazon.com/Team-Losi-Set-screw-2-5mm/dp/B004KPJ84K I ordered these and they showed up in the mail over the weekend. They are, indeed, just a bit longer than the one I removed from my left-side extruder. Time to get out the Dremel and gr...

Re: Copper Hot End?

Running the virtually identical E3D setup at Jetguy. Very happy with the results, but I was upgrading chasing a part cooling issue and somewhat just because. The ability to fully sleeve it from the extruder gear down with Capricorn teflon tubing is another advantage and I want to start playing with...
