Re: Bed won't go up, but goes down fine.

So basic stuff first #1 are you running the latest touchscreen update? This would affect the commands being sent No I am not. #2 since the mainboard Marlin firmware is still official 1.1, this is NOT expected to be the issue or change. #3 If you tell it to home and assist the leadscrew turning, doe...

Bed won't go up, but goes down fine.

Hi, I just went to launch a new print on my Raise3D N2+ and suddenly, the bed won't go home. I can lower it fine via the Utilities menu, but when I try to either send it to Z-Home, or just incrementally move it up, it sounds like it's straining or grinding against something and doesn't move up. With...

Re: Dual extruder for multiple parts ?

its been tried and lead to more disasters than good prints. I don't know of any software that supports it anymore Disappointing, but understandable. Esp given the issues I've had w/ the other nozzle dragging across my prints when just using a single extruder. I learned to lower the active one to fi...

So I can't multiplex print jobs? ---That's disappointing.

Dual extruder for multiple parts ?

I have a N2+ with dual extruders. I'm less interested in printing multiple colors or exotic shapes and more interested in using the 2nd extruder to speed along production. Do I just assign each object I've loaded into IdeaMaker to a different extruder and then slice? Do I need a wipe wall if I'm usi...

Another SpaceMouse/SpaceNavigator user here.

Having IdeaMaker support this device would be great!

Re: Replace Extruder Fan

It can be difficult if the fan wire runs through the guide hole in the coldend. - If it is hard to get the plug through that hole, and the fan is broken, you can cut the wire plug off it and then pull out the wires. When you install the new one you can just loop the extra fan wire and attach it beh...

Re: Replace Extruder Fan

My extruder fan has failed on the right extruder. It seems like there is a short in the cable somewhere. What port is it plugged into on the control board ? How difficult is it to remove it from the extruder assembly ? I'm fairly competent at soldering, so I know I can repair it. I just need to know...

Re: Jammed filament - How do I use the nozzle cleaner?

I ended up taking the hot-end assembly completely apart and found clogs in both the hot-end and nozzle. It was bad enough that I had to use my hot-air station on both to get the material out. It took about 15 minutes for the nozzle and over an hour for the hot-end. Once the clog bubbled to the top o...

Re: Jammed filament - How do I use the nozzle cleaner?

I have some nGen filament that broke off inside the intake just above the cooling vanes and the heater block. Is a heatgun/torch still the recommended solution for clearing this ? I don't want to go melting and smearing filament around the inside of pieces that would be clean otherwise. Pic attached...

Re: Jammed filament - How do I use the nozzle cleaner?

Where do I get the nozzle cleaner kit ? We've had our N2+ in our shop for a while now and I can't find all the parts that it came with. Is it possible to buy another one ? What is the diameter of the wire for an N2+ w/ V2 hotend ?
Thanks!

Re: Black hard goop on Nozzle and Heater Body

I've also experienced this on my N2+ w/ V2 Hot-ends. The nozzles constantly ooze and I'm always having to scrape black burned filament off parts of the hot-end and/or nozzle. I also have to stand by when starting up a print to catch the first bit of filament being extruded and make sure it doesn't g...
