Re: E3D v6 Adaptor

you can control it with the Pin location. raise can make the touchscreen control it if they wanted to but they have not. Here is the fan I made so far on thingiverse. I will add other version to this as well. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2743090 https://cdn.thingiverse.com/renders/ac/ba/57/bd/1...

Re: E3D v6 Adaptor

I've got a duct made for a 35mm fan. printed it out and it fits perfectly. I need to work on a version the directs air flow to the print as well. it is partially done and just needs the portion to direct the air flow at the print. also need to figure out how to get a controlled air blower for part c...

Re: E3D v6 Adaptor

are you having any issues with it hitting into the sides doing that? I don't remember what the side/forward clearance on the print head is.

Re: Printer Filament Monitor

based on the design, it looks like this unit fits on top of the stock extruder block. you might want to note that. people with bondtech extruders will not be able to use this part.

Re: E3D v6 Adaptor

I'll have to take a look at them and work on something. my internet went out 2am on christmas and is just sorta back up now. a tech is coming out later. hopefully I can split the telephone modem off and setup a new modem for the internet.

you need to make the file read only if you change it with SSH. the touchscreen will reset it otherwise

I see it in the code. Raise3D did not set it to be active though.

a question on wiring, which wires can be trimmed to needed length and which can not? the wire leads on these parts are very long.

Re: E3D v6 Adaptor

It seems like 10% of nozzle size is the minimum. so a .4 mm nozzle would be .04mm layer height. a 1.2mm nozzle would be .12mm layer height. i think I read somewhere with 1.2mm however you want to have .25ish as your lowest layer height. trying to figure out the parts to order. I have polysmooth fila...

Re: Marlin 1.1.0 Unofficial firmware version 1.2.1.1

marlin 1.1.7 hit 15 hours ago. a lot of new features. What I am specifically working on right now for the firmware is getting "RaiseTouch" controller option added to the firmware, much like the ultipanel is there. This is going to be a PR so it will be added to Marlin itself and we won't h...

Re: Heat bed temperature anomally

the firmware is using 4700 pull up. If you are using 4500 pull up, your readings will not match. The following is the thermistor types for marlin. Note the first thing that is stated, NORMAL IS 4.7kohm PULLUP! The smallest anomaly does not matter. also the smallest anomaly between what? the readings...

Re: E3D v6 Adaptor

sitting here debating, volcano versus standard. pros and cons?

I can see one advantage of the volcano being the 1.2mm nozzle. If i use polysmooth, I can make single walled objects. Is there a minimum layer height like the maximum layer height?

Re: Resume function question

the backup battery is on the touchscreen only. it lets the touchscreen save the current print location based on the power cut and then shutdown the touchscreen. I have my printer on a backup battery as well. the PSU for the printer is a 500 watt unit. could not really tell you what you need exactly ...

Re: Heat bed temperature anomally

First off. The motion controller board is an Arduino board. an ATmega 2560 RUMBA (R.eprap U.niversal M.ega B.oard with A.llegro driver). http://reprap.org/wiki/RUMBA So you just connected the bed temp sensor from one Arduino to another Arduino. The Marlin firmware running the RUMBA Board is compiled...
