Re: Installing new Stepper drivers

based on the board design, the lower set of plugs seem to be for dealing with this issue. However when i tried plug in to those, it continued to move in the same direction. I used a 4 pin cable I picked up at the electronic supply store in town to flip the orientation around and it is working now. I...

Re: Installing new Stepper drivers

found something over on RepRapPro Mendel. I need to reverse the plug. I can't just plug it in backwards, so I need to go buy parts to make an adapter.

fortunately I have a lovey brick to test fit the parts I need.

Re: Installing new Stepper drivers

Z stepper driver was fired, so looks like all the old stuff was bad. good thing I ordered 5 new ones. filament motors and Z axis are working in correct direction, X and Y are backwards.

Re: Process Help

I was printing out some very small parts for a toy I was making. it finish in mear minutes on my high quality build and is probably deformed due to the factor that the cooling never touched the part. Rather then timing, I would get an active cooling system to blow air on the parts after they are pri...

Extruder Feeder Block issue.

My machine is down atm, waiting for a new part to fix it that comes in today. I took apart my extruder to get measurements to update my 3D model to be more accurate. Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

I have the early bird N2 dual extruder, right now I only have 1 extruder working as I have a damaged thermal couple. i extruder block is tapered, so I think that means it is casted? my machine is down right now so I tore the extruder apart and took measurements and updated my 3D model. R3D-N2-extrud...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

I'm not sure that side mount for the board will work. the thermal couple connect to the front of the board and I'm not sure how much slack is in the wires. went out and took some pictures of my extruder on the N2. IMG_0451.JPG IMG_0452.JPG IMG_0453.JPG took my filament supporter off. IMG_0454.JPG
