Re: Screensaver and Swipe to unlock

Maybe make the password optional? I would love a screen saver but would not want to enter a password

Re: Purchase N1 or N2

MrOnkelChiller, I have a N2 because of the potential print volume. However, I have never printed anything that requires it. Cost isn't the only consideration. The N2 is BIG and heavy. It would be easier to live with a N1 if that's the size you need.

Re: Make: FFF printer test scores

thanks for the feedback on the two, I'll continue to look into the mk2. I'm really interested in their quad filament option that is coming. quality wise both printers are great. one of my printers is rostock g2s delta. it was painful to calibrate and sometimes it gets confused and can't print in str...

Re: Make: FFF printer test scores

How would you compare the print quality difference for PLA between the two printers? I didn't think about the noise difference so just googled for a video of it printing. Not bad considering my first printer was a Thingomatic. Considering a kit to play with. Maybe the i3 Mk2 or a delta like a Restoc...

Re: Make: FFF printer test scores

I love my Raise 3D, but that Prusa I3 Mk II does sound better all the time as a another fun kit to put together. Does anyone here have both a Raise 3D and the Original Prusa i3 Mk II? Can you use ideamaker with it? How do you print ABS with it w/o an enclosure? Or do you just print PLA with it? (edi...

Jetguy's 2nd mod above is definitely worth doing. Makes the fans much quieter and still effective in moving the air.

Cannot pause / resume more than once

I did a pause/resume successfully to switch filament colors. The screen will keep saying "resuming print..." while it continues to print. There is no way to hit pause again. I can go into tune / utilities / print, etc... But cannot hit the pause/stop button anymore. I am on the latest firm...

Re: Suddenly stopping extrusion.

I purchased the gear that Jetguy suggested above. It has worked great. Can't explain it, but my printer extrusion sounds different now. There is a different hum. Don't know if the load on the motors is different now?

Re: Autodesk VariSlice

Vicky,

Maybe you all can just let us choose our own layer height based on where we are...

we can set layer 0 to 50 at layer height 0.25mm
then layer 51 to 75 at layer height 0.10mm
etc

kinda like S3D's processes
