Re: Display has gone suddenly

Is a wired mouse different than a wireless mouse in this case? In my first post I mentioned I tried a mouse and that I can use that to control the printer..

Re: Display has gone suddenly

The touch screen still doesn't work, no area reacts to touch.. The printer hasn't been used a lot, is this somehow fixable?

Re: Display has gone suddenly

Hi, we have a similar but not exactely the same problem. Our N1 had not been connected to the the power grid for a few months so the battery went completely empty. When we wanted to take it back into operation, we had the touch-function only in the upper half of the display, the lower doesn't react...

Re: what happened to the the Official Raise3d Camera?

I can confirm it all works, I have installed the camera some time ago, already had the filament sensor and used the respective firmwares.

There is no influence between run-out sensor and camera. One is connected directly to motion board, the other works with touchscreen.

OK, thanks Vicky!

Re: what happened to the the Official Raise3d Camera?

What is the status of this? I have a filament runout sensor, that seems to still need a different firmware file.

Can I use a camera and still have the filament sensor enabled? Will that maybe be one upgrade to rule them all?

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

The sensor has been working fine for me since my last post, it is still installed that way. But it does not pauze the printer when filament is stuck (clogged nozzle or diameter issues), I thought the optical sensor would notice that too. So only when the filament is out but that's fine, I don't have...

Re: PVA (Flex Filament) and Pro2 Serie ?

I printed a few good testprints with Formfutura Helios Support, also compatible with ABS: https://www.formfutura.com/shop/product ... tegory=204

But I removed the second extruder because it's a pain to calibrate on the N2.

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

This is how I currently have the sensor installed, it's epoxied to the printer and has this 3D printed part: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3099649 Looks nice with the logo, let's hope it will now function as it should. I did have quite some spools I printed empty because of the sensor so that is...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

I did not have any software errors yet but last week my N2 Plus was almost wrecked twice by using the sensor. Make sure to attach the sensor very well to the printer. I had it stuck to the side above the filament with the double sided tape Raise put on the sensor (over the Raise3D logo and indicator...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

Then I have the genuine product! I also put in the work to adjust the whole thing. I didn't have a drill bit with the right size so I only used a slightly bigger one for the top part, I didn't have the nerve to drill the delicate part with that where the sensors are placed (I disassembled it first o...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

This is the current setup: I connected the left spool (viewed from the door side) to the right nozzle. Also, the filament of course is fed through the left entrance of the sensor. I switched the connectors on the main board and now the sensor did work. It did take like a minute before the printer st...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

I read some other threads about this, is there an official answer here? I received a filament sensor that doesn't work (probably the filament is in the wrong entrance). Why is there not more info about this in the manual? Also, there is alot of drag on the filament and it is being stripped by the se...

Re: Filament runout sensor kills printing -- fixed

I just installed a filament sensor, same issues! The filament is stripped by the metal - there's a ball of plastic at the entrance. Also, my sensor seems not to work even though I think I followed the manual very closely - probably left and right mixed up.. I'm also not amused that this is still not...

Re: End of filament sensor

What was the reason it was recalled? I installed one, doesn't seem to work.. Printer does not stop when filament is out (edit: probably left and right mixed up). Mine doesn't look like the one in the webshop here, probably an early version? It also strips the filament and creates more friction.

Hello, the extra fan should cool a bit more when activated in gcode. I don't know if two fans could work - if there is enough current.

Re: Thermal-Protector - available soon to all

The pin was too far in the connector to reach so had to cut the correseponding pin in the protector board. I tried both a micro cutter and needle nose pliers - it was harder than I thought. All pins around it were bent but the micro cutter did the job although it was hard to reach the lower end of t...
