Re: PETG filament

Personally I have had good results with PETG filaments from eSun and from 'Das Filament'.
But nothing other than Raise3D PLA worked for me reliable as long as I used the original extruder. So I upgraded to the Bondtech extruder.

Re: 0.2mm nozzle

The clog happens at fully random layers.
And btw. I'm printing without raft, there is no need for it as I use a heavily modified print bed.

Re: 0.2mm nozzle

So far I tested some eSun PLA+, but more Ingeo 3D850 which has very nice properties and is very easy to print with the 0.4mm nozzle. I did not try Raise 3D PLA as it is too brittle for my application.
I made my last trials at maximum 40mm/s, but I can try again at little slower speed...

0.2mm nozzle

I did a few prints with the 0.2mm nozzles recently, but had much more than usual problems with clogged nozzles. This happened with different materials (but mostly improved PLAs) and also different print settings. It happens also with brand new nozzles. Sometimes, the clogging goes away after a few s...

Re: X-Y ALIGNMENT AND LOOSE BELT CORRECTION

I suppose, I have the same problem again: After having some shifted layer prints recently, I moved the print head around by hand with steppers disabled and found that it stucks on the very left side. I already had this issue at the beginning, shortly after I received the printer. At that time I coul...

Re: No update of displayed temperatures after update to latest raisepack

Sorry, this was my own mistake.
I've did not take over some changes from one of my earlier custom firmwares to the current revision. This missing code section was responsible for sending messages to the PCduino if I don't compile support for the RepRapDiscount LCD.
Thanks firesped, Vicky!

Thanks Vicky, this link is much faster for me.
Generally it may be a good idea to have links to additional servers in case of server down times.

No update of displayed temperatures after update to latest raisepack

As the title says: The displayed nozzle and bed temperature on the touchscreen will be updated only once after power up. Heating the bed and nozzle works, also it isn't a issue with the thermocouples as the correct temperature is displayed after next power up. Everything worked just before the updat...

Download slow

I just tried to download the latest touchscreen software (raisepack), but the download is very slow. I have a 50M downlink but it took about 25 minutes to download the 86MB file.
You should really improve this!

Read again. Martin from Bondtech said "Our reseller in Germany..." :D

Yes, I know, but I've seen it directly on the company's website (https://www.3d-drucker-experte.de). There is a logo 'Raise3D Official Distributor'. So you can get the full kit there. ;)

Very interesting. I did not notice, that there is an official reseller of Raise3D in Germany. Did I miss something?

Re: what setting for 3d850

As nobody else gave some feedback so far, I will do it here: This filament has become my favorite filament in the last weeks! It prints out very nicely and the parts are from excellent strength. I'm printing all types of parts from it, also mechanical parts for which other guys would usually take AB...
