Re: Single vs Dual Extruder, fan control and cooling fan

I am sure Raise3d will find some way to fix it for you, they have been very helpful to their customers so far

Re: Single vs Dual Extruder, fan control and cooling fan

If i were you and had received the wrong one i would contact sales or support and ask them how to fix it. In stead of returning and shipping a new one i am pretty sure it is cheaper to send a model fan (if they deliver it with a N2+ single extruder, of which i sadly am not sure. the N1 i know has on...

Re: Single vs Dual Extruder, fan control and cooling fan

The single extruders N1's have a controlled fan iirc (not sure if the N2/N2+ single has the same since i also have a dual N2+ )

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

i have even tried hand feeding it from the top but even by just setting it on load and hand feeding it i see it stop extruding (moved the motor a bit closer too but not helping enough) Pushing it sometimes helps for a bit but not always (even pushed too hard once and i saw it duck under the guide (t...

Re: TPE filament not sticking to anything

It seems the problem is not just the not sticking, it stops extruding after a while too (and then prob rips it off the plate again)

I am not considering the bondtech upgrade

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

Seems i will have to do the upgrade soon too :/ the elastic filament i bought and need for a project does not get extruded well (starts slipping soon after extrusion starts) How easy is this upgrade? (since i do not want to spend 250+ euro and then have a non functional printer at the end) Would the...

Re: Extruder leaking

if i understood the design correctly , the weak point is the actual heat break i think, made as thin as possible to avoid as much heat as possible to move farther up. (the less contact/thickness the less room it has to transfer the heat) If you make one yourself and make it from a different material ...

Re: Extruder leaking

Swampy that is one hard to read comment.

What i gathered from it, you broke the throat tube and wonder if you need a whole new extruder?

> Answer is sadly Yes the throat tube is not sold separate neither is the alu block.

Re: ideaMaker 2.2.1 Release Note 2016.7.7 and User Manual

ctrl-z will undo your last move if you accidentally dropped it below the plate.

I do hope free movement by mouse will be back in the new version though, so much easier to roughtly place it with the mouse then i finetune by numbers (i do not use the arrows at all to move, its is not handy)

Re: E3D-V6 Hotend

I assume for safety reasons the max temp is set at 300 and should not be raised if you want a safe* product that is under warranty

Re: TPE filament not sticking to anything

Thank you for the link, i did find it before and that is why i dared to experiment up to 250 Celsius.
The problem is not in getting it to flow but to stick on the bed. it will barely stick if at all and often the 2nd pass will just move it out of position

Re: Removing support

you can set the distance the support has from the sides and the top (also handy to prevent support at thin spaces where it would be very hard to remove and support should not be needed)

TPE filament not sticking to anything

Hi all, I successfully printed with PLA, ABS etc from various suppliers but i am now out of ideas for my TPE filament. Hopefully you might have some ideas i did not try yet :) The problem is it will not stick to the bed at all (also have some extruding problems but i do not think it is linked, i eve...

Re: ideaMaker 2.2.1 Release Note 2016.7.7 and User Manual

I miss the free movement option we had (for XY positioning) the way the new version uses the arrows and only one direction at a time does not feel natural to use.

Re: 0.7.0 Touch Screen Feedback

Michael, what i usually do is while it slices i goto the printer controls and set the temp and heatbed first (and if needed do a home) then i click and print the model This way it will show both temps running up at the same time (btw just a visual thing, behind the scenes your heatbed is warming up ...
