Re: Conductive TPU

Didn't try the TPU - I can tell you Printing with the Graphene filled Black Magic 3D PLA was horrible on the N2. I put hours into the filament and it was junk. We threw the rest of the roll awayyyyy - .75% of the roll. It was super soft and once it hit temp at the nozzle would bind itself to our bui...

Re: First Layer Printing Issue

Has your Raft Gap from Model changed unknowingly?

I have had the same exact issue at times, but a change in later height fixed it for me. Depends on the filament and how big the print is for me.

Re: Touchscreen Firmware 0.9.9 Release Note 2018.5.17

In the current the Z drop after print complete is down to 100mm (if the final height is already over 100mm, the bed will stay at the final height), the previous version was 20mm. The increased height is for providing enough space to remove the model. We will open this option in future versions for ...

Re: Gear Slip at Overlapping Solidfill layer print

I've looked into my settings and can say it's amazing that the print is super nice until it creates that overlap for all layers... I've adjusted the retraction to assist in printing getting bound. But really, I can't see anything wrong with the settings. I've shared them above. I've adjusted the lay...

Didn't expect you write anything up. Assumed there may have been something already done.

Thanks again!

Thanks yet again Jetguy.

Any write-ups on how this would plug in to the Raise3D boards?

Hardware Suggestion - Filament Clog or Binding Sensing

This is a hardware suggestion for future builds. Or, perhaps a retrofit to the current N series/ Pro series. This would likely require an additional height to the top of the extruder body. -Above each of the drive gears (for single or dual) or the extruder body add a geared idler pulley (perhaps usi...

Re: Gear Slip at Overlapping Solidfill layer print

An observation: even with a Ø.4mm nozzle the best width of a single layer is about .53-.55 wide without losing the integrity of the of the structure (as if a single wall application - which I have had to use and done so successfully with small prints of PLA, ABS, CCPLA, ESD-ABS and whatever. This is...

Re: Touchscreen Firmware 0.9.9 Release Note 2018.5.17

Do you mean that after print stops, the bed just stop at the stopped height but not home to origin height before the next print? No ma'am. The Bed does not stop at the stopped height, the bed moves down to about the middle of the available Z. Almost as if it were intended to offer our hands more ro...

Re: Gear Slip at Overlapping Solidfill layer print

I can't share the stl... as the whole is supposed to interface with a controlled assembly. It is specifically ANY SOLID LAYER that this issue is shown. And Heat Creep is a major factor... to the gear - even though I have mitigated all the way up to not changing to bondtech... I have 5 days to print ...

Not sure if it's a direct fit.

Thanks.

Perhaps the holes on the front are the same? May be someone who has one can measure?

Re: PLA – Raft Sticking to Print

I love printing with a raft. Never a problem with bed adhesion. Easy to remove from bed without damaging the actual print. I agree. However I know this is not ideal for time , or the "standard" of 3D printing. I get a fine looking layer. Only occasionally do I have issues with RAFT not co...

I've only used the load button a few times, I just use unload and preload. I've never had a problem unloading and preloading any filament.

Re: Gear Slip at Overlapping Solidfill layer print

Interesting observation: I am able to rectify the air printing caused by the overlapping of the filament being laid out by the extruder. What I am observing with the print function itself is that the settings are creating one additional pass for the filament to fill, when there is no room for it to ...

Pro-2 Front Mount Fan model

I'm interested to see if the front mount fan for the Pro-2 will work for the N2 Dual. If so, is there an STL for the Pro-2 Front mount? I'm interested in a front mounting without wrapping it completely around the extruder (as the other available designs all seem to do) so I can added a constant on f...

Re: Touchscreen Firmware 0.9.9 Release Note 2018.5.17

Noticed when I STOP a print, it doesn't move the bed bad to 0, but rather some other height quite a distance from 0. Not that it's a huge concern, but it started with the update today... And could get annoying if pressed for time. Do you mean that after print stops, the bed just stop at the stopped...
