Re: .4 Nozzle Original Nozzle Height

You should not compensate by loosening the nozzle, the nozzle must be fully seated against the throat tube otherwise you're going to have plastic leakage. The correct way to compensate is to raise/drop the full hotend assembly by loosening the screws in the toolhead, adjusting the height and tighte...

.4 Nozzle Original Nozzle Height

.4mm nozzles. Using N2 Dual Since I've had this N2 Dual I've had no problems when dual extruding - although I haven't gone through many tests. The dual extrusions weren't a problem. I recently clogged a nozzle and retrofit it with another from the Raise3D website. What I have found is that the heigh...

Makes total sense in the engineering world. I suppose how to define the thickness of the tree base, and branches (webbing) in the software would be a bunch of extra settings........

With suggestions on this thread
N2 Dual

INLAND ABS works super well - small and large.
3DXtech ESD ABS prints well - small and large.
Raise3D ABS is nice - prints are nice, not nearly as nice as inland ABS.

Re: Gear Slip at Overlapping Solidfill layer print

This issue was not a printer issue, but rather a settings issue. The issue was that the temperature was too low for the filament. Good old user error PEBCAK.

Any Brand suggestions for HIPS? Any Brand suggestions for Limonene? Ordering from the U.S. only. I have been using the HIPS from Matterhackers and for Limonene I use CitraSolv. Thank you very much for your reply! On dissolving HIPS from ABS, have you noticed any ABS bloating from sitting in the liq...

Re: Touchscreen Firmware 0.9.10 Release Note 2018.6.5

Relative VS absolute positioning. You really should study and understand this VERY important concept. You literally were just going on in another topic about how you don't think users need to learn gcode- well right here is why you should. Hint, the 100mm move is relative, not absolute, so therefor...

Re: N-Series Hot End Silicon Socks

I recently ordered a new hot end assembly to keep as a spare for my N2 and when it arrived it had this lovely silicon sock on it. Pleasant surprise! So my question is, why are these not yet available to purchase on their own if they are being sent out with new hot ends? And when will they be? I'd l...

Re: Settings Viewer and/or Comparison Option for IdeaMaker created GCode

1. From version 3.1.7, importing .date file into ideaMaker can build a new slicing template. Which means you can use that to check the slicing settings for this printing file as long as you keep its .data file. 2. Do you mean that you need a window to compare the difference of two slicing template?...

Settings Viewer and/or Comparison Option for IdeaMaker created GCode

Settings Viewer and/or Comparison Option for IdeaMaker created GCode Being that we can re-import a .gcode file into ideamaker to view the preview of the print, I think it would highly advantageous to be able to look at the settings that were selected if made with ideamaker. Not everyone knows G-code...

Re: Touchscreen Firmware 0.9.9 Release Note 2018.5.17

Notes taken. We will try to bring the options you mentioned into reality in future versions. What worries us is whether 110C heat will be harmful or not during removing or clean the build surface after one print completes and before the next one starts. I understand the concern for the 110°C being ...
