Double extrusion, water-soluble support

Hi There,

Did anyone succeed to print correctly with water soluble supports like PVA ?

If yes , would it be possible to share a working gcode so I could try it and see how it is when it works :)

Raise3D N2+, better than SLS :)

Hi All, We at Solidexpress are using SLS machines since our beginning in 2003, 13 years ago... Time goes so fast. When we looked at fdm machines 5 years ago, none was an option to replace PA12 sintering, even the stratasys one, because of price of material. Then last year came the Zortrax, that made...

Re: big spool

Thank you for these advices It looks great . I looked at the first link you suggested on thingiverse and this one seems to be more secure : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39879 I'm a little bit afraid of problems if you have no holding axis ( like with the one with 4 ballbearings ... ) do you thin...

how to increase the details précision in x/y ?

Hi, I can not print my model with surface texture details : IMG_20160824_180621.jpg On the left, you can see the model printed on another machine with vertical stripes on the front, but I just can't remove the raft, so I would like to produce it on the Raise N2 that makes a very easy removable raft....

Re: Buildtak

Hi, I broke, my building plate because I printed a flat solid part that I couldn't remove from buildtak. IMG_20160818_123505.jpg IMG_20160818_123519.jpg I had to build some parts this weekend and of course, I didn't have any spare glass or buildtak.... So I used an emergency trick that worked very w...

Re: Help needed : unwanted xy translation during prints

Hi,

Z-hop worked for me ! ( see parameters in the picture). It increased the building time by 7 % ( 13h41 real building time instead of 12h53 estimated without z-hop)

this Z-hop is the hope :)

Thank you all very much for your help and a special one for Ben.

Re: Help needed : unwanted xy translation during prints

Hi Vicky, Thank you for your help. The problem does not arrive in the same direction but for one file, it arrived twice exactly at the same layer. I'm using only one head for the moment, and the right one is 0.5 mm higher than the left, to be sure it will not cause problems. I checked all what I cou...

Re: Help needed : unwanted xy translation during prints

Thank you very much walshlg for your very clear explanation. What is the usual way for insulating the N2 block ? I will try all what you said, but i'm afraid it means that I will not be able to produce my part soon on this beautifull machine with so good support structures and smooth surface result. ...

Help needed : unwanted xy translation during prints

Hi everybody, I have a problem for the last 3 days. I am unable to print any part with my N2. In the middle of the print, usually after 3 or 4 hours, the head moves to a random point and begin air printing (see picture). I'm not sure but I think that it's also loosing steps in Z (see picture with th...
