Re: Raise3D Unpacking Video

Nice video! I like that it's very visual.

The video shows a spacer for adjusting the nozzle space from the bed (8:16).

How thick is that spacer? I didn't see one in my box. What's the spacing set to at the factory?

Re: Filament "dust" appeared in print head by extruder gear and idler wheel

Please check whether your extruder cover is assembled properly. Loose the fix screws a little with filament inside. Make sure the filament guide tunnel is aligned. Then tighten the screws. Thanks for the tip, it seems assembled correctly - everything seems straight and there is no binding. If you m...

Filament "dust" appeared in print head by extruder gear and idler wheel

This was a little interesting. My N2 came with filment tube guides but no directions on what to do with them. I figured it out and printed fine, except I like to put the lid on my printer when the printer is not being used, and the lid squashes the filament guides down which I didn't like. Support s...

Raft with a built-in "notch" for helping peel would be a great feature

I have successfully set up my N2 and printed a few test prints. So far no trouble popping my PLA rafts off the buildtak... as long as I can get at least a little corner lifted to use as a lever first! If there was some software option to build one or more little gaps onto the bottom of a raft or pri...

Re: FAQ

Yeah, I'm starting to get that feeling. I built one of the original Makerbots years ago so I at least have a general idea of what's what when I look at things. Just nervous about making too far an intuitive leap on a multi-thousand dollar machine. I think I'm getting a feel for where the documentati...

Re: FAQ

Thanks, it's not really clear from the terminology and I'm not 100% sure of the purpose of that part so I didn't feel sure one way or the other.
e: I guess the eight screws instead of four is just a typo.

Re: FAQ

I have a new N2 and the FAQ above says Nuts and screws For N1, all nuts and screws should be tight, except 2 screws for Z axis. For N2 and N2+, only the 8 screws for Z axis (4 on each side) should be loose . I only see four screws total, not eight. I have one of these on each side. What am I missing...

Re: Wifi

Oops, I was mistaken. I have '@' and '^' and '*' in the password but not the '$' sign.

Re: what to do first?

If you make a video, please have subtitles or a text version. (I can't hear)

Re: Wifi

Oh wow, I am definitely going to run into this problem when my N2 arrives.

Changing the wifi password of the whole network (and all the other devices) just for the N2, ouch. I think I'll end up waiting for the new firmware.
