Re: Printing above 250°...

That is so nice! What did you get except the mosquito hot ends? Thermistors and heat rods? I'm thinking I need to adress my issues with this hot ends as soon as possible. I know you wrote that you did not need any FW mods but could you install the mosquito thermistor and heat rod without changing an...

Re: Members in Sweden?

New abrasive resistant nozzle from 3dsolex

I have been thinking a lot about printing abrasive filaments in my Pro2 but have not really dared to buy anything that is not totally compatible with the Pro2's throat tube and hot end. I saw that 3dsolex had produced a nozzle for the N2 but there wasn't anyone for the Pro2 yet. But! Apparently they...

Re: Supports floating above rafts... (by design?)

I can't find what you want but I might have an alternative. If you aren't printing supports directly on your model you could change the vertical offset down layers to 0. That would probably squish the supports to the raft but you could still break it off from the model. Otherwise maybe just print ve...

Re: Filament Runout Sensor Jam

I have also had a similar problem, I have had to clean out my extruder several times. The run-out sensor is the trickiest part to unclogg in my opinion but after heating and pushing I got tired and drilled through which solved the clogg. The root issue seems to be that the stepper motors get too hot...

Re: Heating cartridge Pro2

Hi vicky, The fan was working but I will check whether I can unplug the heating cartridge to test the movement. As it is now I can't stop the heating cartridge from heating and it becomes extremely hot. I have sent a ticket to the support team as well. Thank you :) Edit: I was able to remove the pow...

Heating cartridge Pro2

Hey, Has anyone had an issue with the heating cartridge on the Pro2? I inserted it to far and it started to melt the silicone cover. When I had removed it and cleaned it I tried to insert the heating cartridge and there was a spark from it. The extruder and the fans whent out and the LED-lights as w...

Hotend replacement and clogging

Hi, I have been having some issues with clogging which I have not been able to find the reason for. I think it has happened because I have replaced both nozzles and thus I had to remove both of the hotends. I am doing a dual print and both my PLA and PVA clogs at the filament feeder, you know behind...

Re: PVA on Pro2 - Intermittent Detection

Sounds weird. I am using a material called PETG - Clear which is almost fully transparent, haven't had any problem with PVA either. Can you see the red diode color from the run-out sensorwhen you have inserted your filament? Maybe it is an alignment issue, that the filament is not fully covering the...

Re: idle extruder first layer temp

I am also having this issue. It is a huge problem since I have PVA in one of the nozzles. After being heated for a while, the nozzle gets partially clogged with burnt PVA which makes it impossible to stick the PVA when it is that nozzles time to print. I can solve it by adding a small modell beside ...

Re: Modded filamentbox and top-add on

I like this idea, if we get to keep ours I am going to look into building something very similar as I dont like how they are so close to each other from the factory. I will look to include a dehumidifier for the PVA though. That is the next thing on my to-do-list, as well as adding a thermo and hyg...

Remote window in Ideamaker

I would like to see an option to fully expand the remote window when you connect to your printer from your computer. I have a screen that is dedicated to the printer and would like to enlarge it to make it easier to see. Right now only 1/3 of my window shows the remote window.

Modded filamentbox and top-add on

I got inspired by a another Pro2 user who had constructed a storage box for his filament that was inserted on the right side of the printer. I constructed a similar box using plexi glas where I can load and store filament to the printer. I also hightened the top lid so that the guide tubes wouldn't ...

What is the dimensions of the guide tube? Outer/inner diameter? What kind of plastic is it? I have made a mod to my printer and need a longer tube than the original guide tube.

Re: Members in Sweden?

Hej!
