Re: Simplify3D Offset Issue

@Phife: I just tried a dual-head print and I found that it wasn't just the temps that were swapped. I setup to print PLA, from the left Extruder and PolySupport from the Right. When I started to print, the model printed with the PolySupport (loaded in the right extruder) and the support structure pr...

Re: Simplify3D Offset Issue

@Zettlinger: I agree that IdeaMaker is an excellent package (especially for the price) If I'm printing something that doesn't require a lot of tweaking; then I use IM. The main advantages of S3D (for my purposes, at least) are its ability to create custom supports and modify the printing parameters ...

Re: Simplify3D Offset Issue

I've been playing with S3D for a few weeks now and have found success in some ares; problems in others. First off, I'd like to thank rlballard and Thomarann for their initial work and posts. I'd have been lost without that as a starting point. For those looking to get the previews of your file to ap...

iOS support for Camera

:?: :?: Other than "Coming Soon", is there any realistic estimate on when the iOS app for the Raise3D camera will be available? :?: :?:

Re: N2 Dual - Simplify3D

Okay so my test using that profile worked except I should have set Y305 instead of X305 to park the head at the rear to get it out of the way for part removal (X305 put it to the far right side, not the back). I think putting comments on separate lines made all the difference for it to actually pro...

Re: N2 Dual - Simplify3D

Thanks for the assistance. I've got a 7 hour print going right now; but will definitely be giving it a try tomorrow.

Re: N2 Dual - Simplify3D

I have almost got S3D working perfectly with my N2 dual but I have not yet tackled the second extruder - so it is working as a single (I just have not got to it yet). Thanks to Trhuster for his N1 file that helped me get started. I spent the last few days running tests to perfect raft adherence, ob...

Re: Why so cheap?

The air wolf Axiom was the printer I was looking at. At the 3dprint show in Pasadena, I went just to see the air wolf. I saw the Raise3D and was impressed by the specs, I expected a price in the 3k+ range. I'll have an N2 and a new macbook for less than what a dual nozzle axiom would have cost me. ...

Re: N2 Dual - Simplify3D

Not an answer to your question; just adding to the list of requested help. I've been trying to get S3D to work with my N2+; with little to no success. I've read the various posts RE S3D configurations and tried using that information to configure my software. (S3D V3). The best I have been able to a...

Re: How to safely remove PLA stuck to Buildtak

I have found that the official "Buildtak" spatula works much better than the putty knife that ships with the printer. Some of my early PLA prints were definitely difficult to remove; prior to obtaining the new spatula. It has beveled edges on one side that make it easier to pry-up an edge....

Re: Extruder Filament strain relief

Wibb,

It looks like tubes in your design bypass the built-in side-mount tubes. Am I interpreting this correctly? If so; how do you keep the loose tubes from getting tangled up with a print job? I like what I see; but want to make sure that fixing one problem won't create a new one. Thanks.
