Re: Filament Stepper Motors very hot - even when not printing with nozzle

just an update from my side: we have now installed heatsinks and a fan-solution provided by our germany-based distributor. i also installed the heatsinks on the X&Y motor, just because they are very hot as well.. unfortunately i don't know where the Z motor are exactly or how i can get to them.....

Print Quality - 1st solid layers on infill

hello@all! we have noticed another small issue with our new pro2 & ideamaker. our main focus in 3D printing are architectural models - our Falshforge Finder (with Flashprint) works very good with that! smooth surfaces and nice top layers are very important for us! ("ironig" is another ...

Re: X-Offset on Print

i really don't understand everything thats discussed right know - but i think you are all talking about different things that i originally ment. please read my firts posts.. i'm basically talking about the infill pattern not beeing 45° at the start. sometimes the print gets offset during printing. s...

Re: X-Offset on Print

i have new findings: today i installed the flexplate system by buildtak (for those wondering - installation worked lika a charm) and started a print with a max.-sized cube, just to test if all is in the right position. after the outer perimeters it started with the 45° 1st bottom layer. as you can s...

Re: X-Offset on Print

yes only X direction - see in the photo at the end of the two rods...

extruder is not movable (only like half a milimeter because of the lash of the belts).

Filament Stepper Motors very hot - even when not printing with nozzle

Re: Support Options & Acustic Signals

oh and i forgot to mention...

maybe short acustic signals from the printer, when a print is done, or it has a probem would be nice as well..
or even a notification system via ideamaker oder email, or an app of some sort...

X-Offset on Print

hello@all! i wanted to print the Top Cover from Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1324935 i tried to print it two times, unfortunately there was a offset in X-Axis both times. it looked like the X-Motor was too fast (seen on the top right of the photo). also only the long rods, placed di...

Support Options & Acustic Signals

hello @ all! i work in an architecture office in austria and we decided to get into 3D printing a few month ago. we moved from a flashforge finder & flashprint (which was our cheap intro to 3d printing) to the new pro2 from raise3D. besides having a few issues with heat-creap an printing with PL...
