Not sure how thicker pc sheets will behave, when we print abs onto PC (0.5mm) this is done at 85c chamber and 300-310c extruder temps. the result is a permenant bond from the 1s...

Re: wrinkled ABS during first layer

Stratasys Fortus 900mc user here, when we print with ABS, the build sheets are polycarbonate 470x407x0.5mm
It is the same build sheet when printing PC-ABS also.

Nylon sheet for printing Nylon 12
PEI for printing Ultem9085,Ultem1010 and PPSF and PSU.

Re: Instruction to swap in V2 hot end

At my point, I think that I can no longer use the hex wrench... and yes in my firsts attempts I heated to 100c but nope :P I had a simmilar issue on monday when changing my v1 to v2 (broke a bit driver inside the thermocouple grub screw). i ended up cling film wraping the entire machine inside and ...

Re: Any suggestions on how to remove the stripped grub screws from hotend?

I snapped off a bit driver in the V1 hotend thermocouple grub screw. in the end i had to cling wrap the entire inside of the machine and then use a dremel to angle grind the thermocople out of the block (the block was pretty much cut in half). took about an hour bit i got it out with no mess. left i...

Re: Electronic Box Cover Mod(Modified Version)

I agree with John, if you are willing to cut a hole in the gorgous clear side panel (which i really dont want to do ) go for it. If you dont want to do that, you have more than 1 option to choose from as an alternative...

Re: Electronic Box Cover Mod

that wont solve the problem, the usb connector is getting stressed about 10mm if you force the duct in, its a poor design and needs reworking.

Re: Electronic Box Cover Mod

The bottom half doesnt fit due to a usb lead that is in the way. I have a super earlybird N2plus.
You may need to revise the bottom ducts to account for this. If i remove the usb lead it fits, but i kinda need it.
