Re: PETG retraction settings

Mine were at 1.5 mm and had hardly any webbing with a single extruder and PETG.
With dual extruders I have it at 2.0 mm and still have yet to avoid the oozing/webbing.

Re: Two Extruder PETG Problems

It works nicely with two extruders and PLA. I think my third print was a two color benchy with the original colors - red and white.

Well, drying the PETG rolls will force me to break open another roll of something else.
Thanks for the advice.

Re: Two Extruder PETG Problems

I appreciate your response but I don't see you saying two extruders work with PETG for you. With either exruder I can print things with PETG that look nice - even at standard settings with no temperature change. But with dual extruders I get poor results. See my pictures. Oozing/Stringing. Again, bo...

Re: Two Extruder PETG Problems

On the plus side....no clog this time. the print base looked and felt the same at 230 and 237. No appreciable difference in it's cohesion. Oh - PETG adheres to the the Builtak wonderfully and is easy to remove with a spatula. I am about ready to give up on two extruder printing with PETG for right n...

Re: Two Extruder PETG Problems

You might think that 230 is too low for PETG but that is what both filaments have as their lower temperature. As you can see in the photo I have significant oozing and stringing at that temperature. At the point when it clogged, the print was actually solid so I am not sure what about 230 was too lo...

Two Extruder PETG Problems

I am trying to print a two color benchy with Hatchbox PETG and can't seem to stop the oozing. I lowered the temperature to 230 but then I got a filament jam. When I removed the filament it had expanded to about 2.05 mm so I don't know if the filament caused the jam or the subsequent heat expanded th...

Someone pointed out that my last point could be read as being sarcastic. It’s not meant to be read that way. I am serious about not giving people bad information - it would wreak me if they spent money because of it.
I apologized if someone felt I was trying to be mean about it- I wasn’t.

Re: Shiny New Build Plates

Well dang. Thank you for pointing that out Rogman. I would have been terribly disappointed if I ordered and expected the whole build plate. I would have been mortified if someone told me they ordered, expecting the full build plate on my post. The description Raise3d has on the product is clear.

Re: Surchauffe de la résolution

Thank you for posting this solution. What filament and brand are you printing with? Specifically I am interested in you have been able to use non-Raise3d PLA. I like the consistency/color of the Raise3d Premium stuff but I don't want to use it all the time. I want to be able to print with PVA too so...

Re: Solved : overheating , Jams , fail Prints , stuck Pro2

I use Raise3d pls and prindRhino pla On my Pro2 - I had multiple clogs and then jams with the black PLA that came with my PRUSA mk3. It was a 1.75kg roll and I don't know what brand it was. Since then I swapped back to using Premium PLA from Raise 3D and have not had issues with clogs and/or jams. ...

Re: Jam above the extruder gears

I think the guide is new. I had a problem last weekend and what they sent me looks like an earlier version with fewer details. They probably were testing it with people during the week before releasing it. But yeah, it looks good enough to put on their website now.

Wow - I am not willing to make these modifications without the approval of Raise3D but I applaud you for taking the initiative and providing your notes/pictures to us all.
What kind of filament are you using with this test?

The printer is new. Does "drilling" on it seem a little drastic? Shouldn't Raise3d be taking the lead on this since it seems to be a design problem?

I am confused now.
Which one of these is correct?
I would assume Vicky's is because she is the Rep but the posts seem to indicate that the middle plug is what is needed.

Re: Raise3d Pro2 Review in Deutsch Video

OK, I see two pictures here in the thread that are different. One from Vicky and one from Prop-Fiction. One has the plug in the middle and one has it at the end (bottom). I would assume that Vicky's right right but all the conversation in the posts says it's the other way. Which is correct? (I rotat...
