Re: Layer Skipping issues

I keep saying it but no one listens, the Pro 2 has major issues to print reliabil, it works sometimes and a lot of other times it has either jams or issues with thermal runaways because of the cables. I too have two machines and it's just a hit and miss, if the issue was with one of them then ill bl...

Re: Make the Pro2 Silent (agian) ;)

Thank you very much :) Have you also the Cover, shown on the picture or are you using the attached cover? yeah .. the 35mm Fan is very loud too :( I Think I will handle this, when I modified the PSU and the Controller Board. Sorry i don't have that design anymore as it has been modified already.I h...

Re: Make the Pro2 Silent (agian) ;)

Yes they are 92 PWM fans low profile, you can attach them in a push-pull senario if needed. I checked the model number on both fans and downloaded the data sheets(attached) too, they are way to noisy. Here is the stl file for the cover, all you need to do is mirro it for the other side and it fits b...

Re: Is it OK to buy the Pro 2 now?

I too would not recommend this printer for its price, it's just un reliable, sometimes it works for 3 days prints other times it fails, read my comments here on the forums and the issues many people were facing.

Re: Make the Pro2 Silent (agian) ;)

Hi, I have made all the changes to quiet mine the minute i bought the printer, and as you said its the PSU, very noisy and also the electronic blower fan. I 3d printed a cover with two openings for 120mm Noctua fans, the cover snaps in just like the original but its not long enough as the print bed ...

Re: Anyone have a Raise3D printer?

There is no printer that you just turn on and crank out prints like an HP LaserJet. You're going to have to invest lots of time learning software and how the whole thing works. -john Try a Prusa MK3 or an ultimaker and you will see how reliable they are but smaller foot prints. But for the money i ...

Re: End of roll issue

I had the same exact issue but mine did eventually park the head and ask for filament replacement and you can see my post here. I did eventually replace the filament and i then realized that it started printing in mid air which means that it only detected filament run out after a couple of layers la...

Raise Pro 2 Plus Filament sensor issue

I had a 61 hour print running for over 48 hours and i came the next morning and it was asking for filament since it ran out, so i tried removing the small piece of filament stuck at the filament sensor hole since it was kinked and after 20 minutes of opening the sensor and top cover i eventually rep...

Re: Issues with the Pro2 Series

I have been saying this since we got our printers but Raise just doesn’t want to listen, we got not one but two printers and both have the exact same issues and that’s just an indication of design/software problems. I wish Raise could come forward and say that they know now these problems are real a...

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Vicky, you need to stop asking people about material types and gcode etc.. you need to acknowledge the issues constantly reported by all of us Pro users and come up with a fix, and stop asking people to open a ticket, thats valid when one or two people have rare issues, but the same bloody issue rep...

Re: Should we purchase new Pro2 from Raise3d or Vendor?

dont buy this machine, its flawed, dont take my word for it, read the forums, so many people having the exact same issues and Raise tries to blame it on filament types. I bought two Raise Pro2's not one and both have the same issues which obviously says a lot. i swear you will be making the biggest ...

Re: the temperature of the motors overheat the extruder unit

I am this close to throwing all these electronics on my Raise Pro2Plus and add a Duet Wifi instead and even replace these hotends with E3D ones. cause this printer is just not reliable at its current state.

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Here is a video posted in the N series discussion, but same problem is clearly here in the pro2. https://www.dropbox.com/s/fjs8fpjxlwvmqkn/Stock%20mainboard%20cable%20failure.mp4?dl=0 The differences are: Pro2 does use locking connectors as an upgrade from the previous N series Pro2 uses a differen...

Re: PRO2 Timelapse results?

i have some knowledge of MS-Dos from back in the days and i checked the commands online how to list all directories and get to them but still, i agree with you, this should be as easy as drag and drop, today people want to share timelapse of their prints.
