Re: Filament Run Out Sensor -- Use 2nd spool

Also posted as "Auto Extruder Switch on end of spool detect??" back on June 6th. Yes please BUT the alignment between nozzles would have to be PERFECT or would be a potential waste.

Re: Camera again...

How? Step by step please. I haven't a clue on how to record a time-lapse from the camera and then access it for playback.

Re: Camera again...

How do I play the time-lapse video on the touchscreen currently? I'm not seeing how to do this nor do I see where a list of time-lapse movies that have been recorded are available. Where's the documentation on how to use the camera appropriatley? Even a very simple pdf on how to record, how to playb...

Re: Camera again...

Why exactly can we enable timelapse yet do nothing to access and play this back? Is the camera functionality still in development? Is there a timeline and anticipated functionality list available?

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Same issue here again as well. Thought I had a clogged extruder but now I believe it was just the faulty connection of the 14pin plug cutting power/heat to the nozzle. Of course, when I tried to unload the filament it broke at the gear since it was too cold to actually pull the filament out. Check y...

Re: Jam above the extruder gears

Why isn't this guide (and similar documentation) posted for 7-24-365 download? Frustrated at the lack of documentation to work on and service my Pro2.

Re: PRO2 Timelapse results?

On the printer I've enabled time-lapse as well and restarted but I don't see where any of the results are? Where is it saved and how do we play it back? Is there any documentation on this feature? And if NOT....why not?

Ran a 12 hour job without issue and the readings stay correct. Must have been a loose connection..... -David

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Now that I think about it I did have several print jobs in the last day that had issues in the middle that looked like the extruder had temporarily stopped extruding and I thought it was a filament issue but I'm guessing now that it was the connection that was working loose that was causing this? I'...

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Similar issue here: Have been using my Pro2 for the last couple of weeks successfully but now my left and right extruder both read 330 and the print bed 60. I have set all three to 0 but doesn't seem to matter. Have powered off and on and no change. Print bed is warm but extruders are not. In the pr...

Re: Trying to match Pro2 quality and speed to M200......

Thank you again Vicky for your help. ;-) I did find the manual online and have experimented with the "Layer Starting Point" and have put them into a corner and an inside surface and visually the quality now meets or exceeds the output of my M200's. The Pro2 is still taking about 20% longer...

Re: Trying to match Pro2 quality and speed to M200......

Thank you for your reply Vicky. How do I go about establishing where I want the seam points to be? Is there additional documentation available on the advanced settings of ideaMaker? Kind Regards, - David Barwin

Re: Trying to match Pro2 quality and speed to M200......

The good news is there does appear to be "good quality" achievable with diving into the Advanced Settings. Everything from "Coast", "Enable Jerk Control", deselecting "Avoid Retract Inside Models", changing speeds and amounts does start to match the quality I'...

Trying to match Pro2 quality and speed to M200......

I have a 10 printer farm of Zotrax M200s (running 7/24/365 for consumer products) and recently acquired a R3D Pro2 in the hopes of starting to replace my standalone M200s. 90% of what we print is ABS (Z-ABS) and Z-ULTRAT is the other 10% (PLA is too brittle and dark colors soften in direct sunlight)...

Auto Extruder Switch on end of spool detect??

New to the community here and am looking for a dual extruder printer that will/could auto switch extruders when the end of a spool is detected. I have a 10 printer farm (M200s) and currently spend a tremendous amount of time dealing with end rolls of filament that are too small to run overnight jobs...
