Re: Unwanted solid infill resulting in bad overhangs

The solid fills can improve the adhesion of overhand sections. If you don't need those, you can modify Solid Fill Minimal Width. You can start from 2 times of extrusion width.

Re: Same layer, different names?

Top Surface Layers are included in Top Solid Fill Layers. For example, you can have Top Surface Layers as 2, Top Solid Layers as 7. Then you will have 7 layers of Top Solid Fill Layer and the top 2 layers of this Top Layers will be printed with the settings under Top Surface Layers which is usder to...

Re: Relation between filament/extruder/print template

The filter you mentioned is looking for:
1. Searching Name only or Tag only or both?
2. Searching inside Template or Filament or both?
3. Sorted by last modified date?
4. If one template has 3 tags added as “Raise3D E2”, “0.4Nozzle” and "Testcube", you can add one or multiple in filter?

Re: Crash detection while model is placed within "safe" area

From the message on touchscreen, it should left nozzle should be within 330mm but actually at 332mm. If there is no similar settings affecting this in your gcode, we can only try to guess whether it is caused by Skirt or not? Did you enable Skirt when slicing? Did ideaMaker throw any error message w...

Retraction is decided by Minimal Travel of Retraction and Mnimal Amount of Retraction. When travel distance is larger than set value, it will trigger a retraction. Re: Cant Seem to get a good print anymore

It seems like there may be a partial clog inside the nozzle or something not allowing the filament to flow properly. Can you try run the ABS through loading sequence to see if there are any issues with the flow of the material.

Re: Angle in vertical face mid-print

Our general recomendation for adding Z-hop will be .15mm above the layer height. So if you were printing with a layer height of 0.2mm you can try your Z-hop value at 0.35mm.

We feel the result should be related to to the value put in Code M572. Try test different values in Code M572 and see whether the result look better or worse.

So you are looking for a Global Search Box of to use Keyword or Tag to find the settings, not define the printer and material first and search inside the template, correct?

Would you like to advise whether you are looking for:
