Re: Layer height steps that follow the model height and not just a manual layer height

It will be hard to 100% match the accuracy to have the software compensate itself. If you know the actual size of the model, use Per-layer settings to manually modify the last layer might be easier.

Would you like to share your .gcode and .date files with us so that we can run some tests on our side as well?

Re: Angle in vertical face mid-print

Seems you have increased a few speed settings which shouldn't affect much.
You can add some Z-hop to avoid the nozzle coliding with he model as well as the support structure.

Re: Flow rate affects Z travel

While flowrate can affect dimensional accuracy slightly we normally don't see it affect the part by more than a mm or 2 at the very most.
Please help print a small calibration cube and check the printed out size.

You can try add Z-hop when slicing the model to help with the second nozzle coliding with the part.

Re: I want speed settings for each IDX head in Ideamaker

There will be a lot changes accoding to this feature in software. So we will need to run a lot tests to make sure it is not causing other issues. We are planning to release it around 3rd quarter.

Re: First layer setting clarification

It will be rely on how far the nozzle has travelled.
Flowrate will affect total extruded amount. It will be Layer Height * Extruder Width * D * Flowrate.

Re: Support doesn't fuse to base layer on long pass

Both videos show private, not able to view. Would you like to confirm which part of the model was not sticky? Do you mean the first layer of the support or the bottom layer of the model? Image_20200519144736.png With 0.55m layer height and gap between one layer support and model, the nozzle should b...

Re: Wipe is Coast in Ideamaker? ASA+ print gone wrong

Not 100% sure, but it can be related to retraction.
Try enable Avoid Retraction Inside Models and disable Extra Restart Amount and see whether the result gets any better.

220C - 250C sounds pretty high for PLA prints. Have you tried 210C -215C?
Do you have other colors premium PLA on hand? Please load other colors premium PLA through and make sure there is no clog inside first.

Re: Ooze from Hot End

There should be no heat required to install a new nozzle. Since there has been some plastic buildup we would suggest disassembling the components and cleaning them. Then assemble the hotend according to our guides and ensure that the end of the throat tube and the rear end of the nozzle are touching...

Re: N1 layer shift in x or y

Shure attached you find the information. The right nozzlle can`t be the problem, because they are 1 mm over the build surface. After the last nozzle change (begin of this year) I shift the right nozzle up. Also the g-code was used now in total 15 times. Only the last 3 time I had problems with them...

Re: The extruder stops extruding plastic in the middle of the print

Would you like to adivse whether you were printing with top cover on or off? Was there any issues when loading the machine or the jams only occurs while printing? 80c on the heated bed is pretty hot for PLA. You can try lower the bed temp back down to around 60C and see whether the result gets bette...
