40MM Part Cooling Fan Duct

Just wanted to share my design for an improve part cooling fan duct. I went with a 40mm fan simply because I felt I needed just a bit more air and it was the biggest I could fit into a more or less stock position without any major reworking. I also added "micro ducts" to direct the air flo...

Do you have any specifications on that adapter?

Re: Printing above 250°...

Has anybody used this for print PEEK filament and can confirm that it works? I'm working on a project that would require us to print some tooling in PEEK and if I need to alter our Pro2 Plus, I can.

Re: Major Update & Improvements for Pro2 and N Series

You can try the feature called Cool Down Inactive Extruder so that the temperature of the used nozzle will be reduced to the lower target temperature you set when it is not printing. WipeWall and Wipe Tower can also help wipe the leaking filament on nozzle tips. I'm not talking about oozing. I'm ta...

Re: Major Update & Improvements for Pro2 and N Series

Raise3D Team and Community, Has anyone else experienced a sudden occurrence of blobs and zits post upgrade to the new firmware, touchscreen, and ideamaker software? Take a look at the photo attached. Item o the right is prior to the upgrade. Item on the left is post the upgrade. I’ve even tried pri...

Print Head Selection Modifier

One thing I'd LOVE to see is a print head selection modifier option. Simply put, you have the main model printed with one print head, than an modifier selected area you print with the other. The reason why I'm keen on this is because my companys plan on using some parts that will only be good until ...

Re: PETG oozing on nozzle switch

Have you tried the cooling down feature in ideaMaker when the extruder is not printing? You can set the temperature for PETG to be aroudn 220C when the other nozzle is printing. It may can help a little. It oozes immediately after it switches nozzles. As near as I can figure out, its not retracting...

PETG oozing on nozzle switch

I'm trying to print a clear model using PETG as the main material and PLA/PVA as the support. (I'm testing with PLA and will swap to PVA once I have the settings down the way I want them.) Now I realize that PETG is notorious for oozing, but I've been able to print with PETG by itself without any pr...

Re: PLA Warping? Is it the fan or the PLA?

PLA is more likely to warp from lack of cooling than it is from too much cooling. Generally, with PLA, I've found that the more cooling you can provide directly to the print the better it performs. What temperature are you printing at? I'm using 100% cooling at 205 C. The print I'm referring to war...

PLA Warping? Is it the fan or the PLA?

My company just purchased a Pro2 Plus and I've been having some very frustrating trouble when printing with pla. The short of it is, the PLA is warping. Specifically, its "necking" my prints for the first 10 mm. I've been using Raise3D's supreme PLA. Sometimes it prints perfectly, others i...

Modifiers and Extruder Selection

Is there a way to use modifiers to change which extruder is used in certain areas of a print? I want the main body to be printed in one color, but a certain portion of it in another color. I've been trying to find a way to use modifiers to select the area, but I can't figure out how I can select the...
