API camera stream format

We can request camerserver_URI, username and password via API calls which is sufficient to construct an URL to camera stream. The server identifes itself as MXCCameraServer/0.1.2 , some googling and poking around in the RaiseTouch environment via ssh revealed that its one of Raise3Ds propriatery com...

Re: API login request fails

got it working :) echo command appended a newline to the piped strings  Adding -n to echo fixed everything. With this script I get a valid auth token from the printer: #!/bin/bash password=$1 echo " pwd: $password" timestamp=`date +%s%N | cut -b1-13` echo "timestamp: $timestamp&...

Re: API login request fails

One possible problem here is that you are getting a trailing newline being piped from your echo into sha1sum. To wit: osprey-4:Documents dillo$ echo "password=testpassword&timestamp=1548222352"|shasum 3be9ee804450c55e9411992147578ba056e8ea39 - What I'm doing is parsing the result into...

API login request fails

I want to play with the camera and try to call my printers API via the following script: #!/bin/bash password=$1 echo " pwd: $password" timestamp=`date +%s%N | cut -b1-13` echo "timestamp: $timestamp" sha1=($(echo "password=$password&timestamp=$timestamp" | sha1sum)...

Re: Truing the bed

For me it was the original glass plate which always bulged out in the center and prevented a truly flat bad.
So i retired the glass and bought a buildtak flex plate in april, levelled it once and am printing without rafts and readjusting ever since.

Re: Linear Advance / K-Factor support?

Half year has passed by. Is LIN_ADVANCE supported now in the official builds? when not: why? using custom builds is gotten pretty dificult in the mean time due to the risen variety of setups. eg my printer is a raise3d N2, bondtech extruder, right nozzle removed, with official filament out sensor an...

Re: Jerk settings for Bondtech?

Max working jerk for me is 15mm/sec with bondtech dual direct. But I usually still go for 12 because of additional printer noise and print times were not significantly lower with my workloads. Haven't played with acceleration yet. Additional note for Simplify3d users: S3D didn't use G0 command once ...

Is there any info for european customers like "europeans will be served 2 weeks later because stuff has to be shipped to europe first" or something?
Just asking because I've not received both thermal protector and Filament Run-out Sensor yet...

Re: Ideal print chamber temp

that depends on your specific filament and humidity.
Eg I never take off the lid, printing from PLA to high temp ASA always with lid on and doors closed.

Re: New N2PLus.... shall I go BondTech straight away?

I upgraded and honestly don't see big differences in print quality. I was able to raise jerk from 1.2 to 1.5 which saves a few minutes print time here and there. And I can print a lil faster with thick layers because bondtech has more power to push the filament down the throat without biting holes i...

Re: Buildtak flex plate?

I'm using it. attached the plate directly to the aluminium plate & got the printer way better levelled this way. the glass plate had always a bulge in the center and getting rid of the annoying clips on the sides is a nice side effect. I don't take off the flexplate very often, only for very big...

Re: cause of slipping filament

Back to slipping filament: It could be a slicer issue. I use simplify 3D and had many parts printing great, while some parts often died mid print because the extruder was slipping. I tried everything: cleaned the nozzle, lowered motor voltage, printed slower, it still happened from time to time, and...

Re: What buildplate is commonly used?

My experience with buildtak is, you'll damage it often at the beginning and virtually never once you get accustomed to it. However, if a printer is semipublic used by many people (university printer pool scenario..) people won't really care and damage the surface a lot. In this case the buildtak Fle...

Minimal Control&Upload App

I don't use the slicer, but like its remote control feature. It would be great if we had a spin of micro app whch basically only consists of this functions: - Remote control for printer - Gcode upload That would be enough for people which don't want to use ideamaker while still want access to the pr...
