Re: Top layer issues

Thanks for the quick reply I'll check my settings again.

Still don't know why I get the textured layer only on one side during printing.

Top layer issues

I'm using an N2+ Dual and the factory default speed settings for the slicer. I have upgraded to the BondTech dual extruder but that was many months ago. The issues I'm seeing have started to creep up over the last couple months. The large line going from the left to the right at the downward angle i...

Specify Right to Left or Left to Right printing

I have an N2+ Dual. I'm printing a model that is using both nozzles. The left nozzle is printing the base plate and the right nozzle is printing text. When the right nozzle is printing the left is over top just previously printed text and it's causing that text to deform whether from heat or draggin...

Re: IdeaMaker feature requests

Remaining filament on current roll Add an option in the HMI that allows us to 'put a new roll' on the printer with 'x' weight. Then when we print a part decrement that weight from the roll. Weight is not 100% accurate but it would help with knowing how much is left on a roll and if the next print is...

Re: Printing flush text as a second color

I created a new instance for each part: the flat plate and the 3D text. I'll try with suppressing and saving. Thanks!

I did make the Text 3D though by extruding the sketch.

Re: Print head not returning to origin after print

I think I found what might have caused the problem with moving past the Y limit switch. I created a + symbol 20 mm in each direction and printed it out at dead center in Ideamaker. The print however was off by 18mm in the X and 22 in the Y. Putting the print in the bottom left quadrant. I used the o...

Printing flush text as a second color

I have two models that I created in Solidworks. One model is a flat plate with various holes for electrical connectors. I cut out of that model text to signify what each connector is. I then made a 2nd model that is just the 3D text. My intent was to overlay the 3D text into the flat plate and print...

Re: Print head not returning to origin after print

Hi Vicky

You are sending me a new Y Limit switch assembly and I will print out the parts and attach. Will let you know how everything works.

Re: Print head not returning to origin after print

Anubis is correct. I have had this same issue as well twice now with my N2 Plus. On prints that require the nozzle assembly to get close to the Y Limit switch something happens that causes that switch to be bent sideways and trigger constantly. I haven't found out what is causing the actual physical...
