Which fan cooling option for the N2 with E3D adapter?
I ordered an received greenlee's E3D adapters and have E3D parts coming in to install. I'm still confused which is the best fan shroud to use with the E3d hotend using the adapter. I read about using the berd air cooler and it looks very cool, but I believe that I have to edit and compile my own fir...

for now, can you break the fin on the opposite side so they would be balanced? That would reduce the noise.

yes, it is supposed to be missing. It helps you put it in the correct orientation.

Jetguy, I thought that you suggested not lubing the rods a while back. Something about the bearings should already be internally lubed?
Can you clarify? I just want to be sure. Were you referring to the rods or some other parts that we should not lub?

you can use a heat gun to soften the plastic, then just peel it off the hotend.

Martin, will you make an adapter available for those of us with the original kickerstarter motors? I think Jetguy mentioned that the cables / plugs are not the same as the new pancake motors?

Thanks Charles your solution worked great....my other printers print at a 4, I double the N2, that was already at 5, to 10 and it looks great.......we also noticed that the temp of the hot end is set at 215, im lowering it to 195, what my other machines do, and testing another one to see what it do...
