IdeaMaker Design Suggestions
While IdeaMaker is pretty good and works well I have a number of suggestions (based on 3 decades in SW and Systems design): 1. Allow for settings per print. The current conceptual approach assumes you save all the settings you are making for specific print for a "template". The template se...

Re: Palette+ and N2 Set up
For those of you who have the Palette+, what would you say your main uses of it are ? Better multi-color ? multi-material ? I don't run my printer as a business/service bureau, so I don't have a business need to justify it at the moment. Mosaic is having a 20% off sale right now though on the Palet...

Re: Why is dense support disabled???
I see no way to post screen captures in your forum at all. Regardless... The override checkbox is checked. Yes... unchecking it turns on the fields... I suggest you put some way for the end user to be able to figure that out. Perhaps a small question mark button which explains where to go if disable...

Re: How do I change Tempurature Settings in Ideamaker?
For some boneheaded reason the filament/extruder temp setting are now in the tab labeled "Cooling". A BIG suggestion to Raise3D... learn about User-Centered Design! Yeah, I've never been able to figure out why this is called "Cooling" vs. "Temperature". I'm using 3.1.7...

Why is dense support disabled???
The number of layers and density are grayed out. No obvious reason as to WHY???

Will the N2 series now be neglected???
So why... WHY! are there no thermal silicon covers for the original N2 cold blocks?!?!? Does Raise3D REALLY have such extreme disregard for all the people out there that have purchased their products? The customers which helped Raise3D get to be what it is right now. This makes me wonder will Raise3...

I installed mine and the printer seems to operate the same.
An explanation of how it works would be nice.

S3D and Dual extrusion
Has this ever been figured out??? Last posts here seem to leave the issue hanging. Last I read the tool numbers are backwards and 1 nozzle needs an offset. The sliced preview does not show them combined and you have to have the offset ing code turned on. I've tried again lately and I cannot seem to ...

Re: Simplify3D Offset Issue
OK, I played around with S3D 3.1 some more last night. I didn't get around to verifying whether or not this issue is unique to the N2 Plus settings or if it is common to both the N2 and N2 Plus; but the Left and Right extruders are definitely reversed in the settings. Any job / setting applied to t...

PID control
The one thing about the Raise3D that drives me NUTS!!! is the way when I load or unload filament or sometimes at the start of a print the PID control stops the temp increasing RIGHT BEFORE it's supposed to and drops then starts upwards again adding time to the operation. This is unnecessary. PLEASE ...

Re: Urgent fix needed
I think I need to make this more clear and mark it urgent. I posted this in the change request catagory but I think it will get more visibility here. I consider the recent change to the LCD firmware a huge step backwards and urgent to fix. Specifically, the heat to the nozzle is terminated each tim...

Pause position
I finally have a use case with the Raise3D N2 where I need to pause and switch filaments. Now I see that there is a problem. The pause position of the hotend is inside the build plate area and not off to the side to allow the filament to flow down during the filament load. The bed is kept at the las...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series
I scanned this thread to see if this was posted yet... I could not find anything so... The latest version of the UI panel FW has esteps added. Go to the gear menu, Machine, More settings, Hardware, Steps per unit, esteps. No need to change the start gcode to set the esteps to 415. Set it to 415 in t...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series
The DualDirect Bondtech upgrade decreased ringing by at least 50% using the same speeds I had been using with the stock feeders. I also see much less zippers. It finished a 7 hour print in TPU and it came out perfect with no stringing at all compared to the same settings using the stock parts. It WA...

Re: Bed Leveling - N2+ (My Experience & Solution)
I'll give you a bit of a the back story. I bought a brand new Raise3D N2+ back in February. Got a great first print off the device. Printed some more. Learned my bed was not 100% level from the factory. I first tried making adjustments using the hotend and the supplied feeler gauge. It was back bre...

Re: N2 Manual Bed Leveling Mod ???
I think it should actually have a leveling kit provided with the machine since the defect is proven. It is permissible for the user to be obliged to disburse the least underneath. If this is not possible, the machine must be delivered with a good leveling. You can imagine a car dealer selling you a...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series
I just installed the dual direct pancake upgrade. Printing Benchy right now. One thing I never saw mentioned in this thread is the impact on the filament Load utility... My new steppers were WAY too slow for loading. To change it go into the "Tune" window of the UI and up the Nozzle flow r...

go to where the file is located.
it should have a gear icon.
touch the file and it will ask if you want to flash the firmware.
Thanks.
