Used N2+ for sale. Orange County, CA.
I have a used N2+ single print head for sale. I believe this unit is serial #2, so one of the first and original N2+ as I was an early kickstarter backer. Over all the printer has over 2K hours of print time. Many parts replaced over the years, including a recent motherboard replacement. The extrude...

Re: N2+ no motor movement
Well I tried with just the extruder motors drivers today since I had some spare A4988 laying around. I removed all the existing stepper drivers, plugged in one new A4988 to E0 and it's still not doing anything. I removed it, took a different new A4988 and plugged it in E1 and still nothing. What I h...

Re: N2+ no motor movement
Hi Vicky,
Is the TMC2208 a direct replacement for the older stepper drivers? I figured I might as well upgrade the drivers while I'm at it.
Thanks,
Evan

Re: N2+ no motor movement
Thank you. I'll replace the stepper drivers with new ones and report back. Hopefully that'll do the trick.

Re: N2+ no motor movement
Thanks Vicky,
I will try that. But what is the chances of all the stepper drivers going bad at the same time? And if it's possible, what would have been the cause?
Thanks again,
Evan

Re: N2+ no motor movement
Hi Vicky All 3 axis are not moving in any direction. I can get the hotend to heat up, but the extruder motors won't move either. I probed the stepper drivers and they're getting 5v, but there's no voltage coming from the 4 pin connectors going to the stepper motors. I opened up the bottom and probed...

N2+ no motor movement
My N2+ was sitting unplugged for about 4-5 months. It was printing fine when I unplugged it, but now that it's plugged back in and battery fully charged again the axis motors won't move. It doesn't make any sound or any indications that it's powered at all. I'm wondering if the stepper drivers are b...

Re: New Bondtech SingleDirect Extruder for N2 not turning
I'd check the wiring of the adapter. The 4 pins are probably not in the correct order.

Feeler - Used N2+ single in SoCal
I think the time has come for me to part with my beloved N2+. It's by far the best 3D printer and the best investment I've made and it has so much more to give. I don't have a particular need to sell it, so I'll entertain any reasonable offers. The N2+ single nozzle is in very good condition. Has th...

Re: Periodic Maintenance for N1/N2 after 2 years
Have you serviced the hotend assembly lately? Make sure the nozzle hasn't backed itself out and the cold end hasn't slipped down from the main assembly. I recently had to readjust the rods and belts alignment because I noticed the gantry doesn't move smoothly anymore. It feels like there's a bind so...

Re: Can anyone identify this filament
That's just generic Chinese made filaments. There are 2-3 of factories that make the bulk of these and their packaging are pretty the same. There might be a white sticker on the inside of the spool that might give you more information.

They should cost much less than that. Check aliexpress or similar websites.

Re: Pro2 Plus with 1mm nozzle setting
In IdeaMaker, when you click on slice and the template screen pops up, choose your template and click on Edit. Go to Advanced and go to the Extruder tab, 2nd tab. The first setting at the very top is extrusion width. In theory, your extrusion width should be 120% of your nozzle diameter. Your melted...

Probably too small, try single outer shell instead of double.

Secretly hoping R3D won't add this feature. It might help a few, but I can see it screwing things up for many others.

Re: Source for Reasonably-Priced Nozzles
Sorry, went on travel and forgot all about this. The ones mentioned above will work, I've done it early on. If you want to keep it closer to the R3D nozzle, look for the MK8 style nozzles with M6 thread. Just make sure the inside of the nozzle is not bored out for the teflon tube liner. Some do and ...
