Re: Slice Engineering Mosquito Hotend Adapters

Hello Everybody, You can find attached a sketch to make an adaptor to fit a Mosquito hotend onto the N2 hotend hole. I asked a friend to machine some for me in brass and the result is very good. The fully detailed sketch is for the LEFT side if you need some for the Right side you need a mirror vers...

Thermistor type on N2 DUAL

Hi everybody, Hopefully Jetguy can help, I am sure he knows the answer. I have installed a Mosquito Clone hotend after making some adapters to fit it to the original N2 main block. I bought some shorter Heating cartridge, they fit well the new hotend and they seems to heat-up fine (which is they mai...

Re: Hot end not heating up

I have changed all the cables in the plastic chain and all work fine now, I think the issue was from the 3wires cable for powering the hotends, but as it's very tedious to dismantle the cables , I did it for all of them in one go
Thanks for the one whom helped

Re: Hot end not heating up

I already have installed a brand new Extruder board. Yesterday I detangled all the wires so I could remove the grey ribbon cable, the 3 wires heating rods cable and the 2 motors ribon cables, opening the Chain and isolating all these cables is not complicated but tidious, so I rather do it once and ...

Re: Hot end not heating up

Hi, Thank you for the feedback. The first thing I did when I saw the T° was no going up was to change the Heater rod on the concerned hotend, that was simple to do without the need to disassemble 10's of screw, ties ... Then when I find out that both hotends have the same problem, none heating up wh...

Re: N2 Hot end connector type

Hi Jetguy thanks for all these good points. My main issue, as explained on another post, is that the hotends do not heat-up any more, none of them, when I do load or launch a print. I happened after a print failure, the whole printer stopped and a message appeared. I had 3 choices, restart, continue...

Re: N2 Hot end connector type

Thanks for the quick reply, after digging on my side I thought it might be the JST-VH but I wasn't sure as they all look alike. I will try to make a new cable to connect the 2 boards because I have no heating up on the extruders (neither sies) but I have on the multimeter a 24V output. thanks again ...

Hi Everybody, does any one knows what is the type/name of white connectors which are used to connect the 3 black wires from the mother board to the hotend board ? I can find similar wires but I need 3 way plugs to put on each ends, I want to try if one of the cables are not faulty and cannot deliver...

Hot end not heating up

Hi, Last night the printer stopped and I got an error message (which I forgot to record) , I had a couple of these in the past since I installed the Bondtech, it seems that it happens if the flat wire become lose or something like that. I restarted the printer, it asked if I wanted to continue/resta...

Re: Bondtech gear looks like it's popping out, causing major jam

Hi , I had the same issue, after extruding over 30Kg of ASA, I was getting more and more grinding issues, problem in Unloading/loading (I do loading only now), lack of filament deposition leaving gaps in layers. This using the left extruder side. I discussed with Bondtech people (Martin Bondeus), he...

Re: New issues I am getting

Hi Markus, After trying many things on the left extruder, new air concentrators..... I decided to give a try at the right extruder, which I never use , most of my printing being single colour or designed to be printable without the need of supports.I keep an extruder on the right side but without a ...
