Re: Quality Control.

This just keeps getting more ridiculous. I try to be patient, but the lack of attention to detail paid by your employees is really disappointing. Since at least one other user reported filament in the extruder, I had assumed this was not a problem. I was planning on keeping it but Raise3D issued an ...

Re: Quality Control.

Unfortunately for me, it isn't that simple.

Thanks, though.

Quality Control.

Why is quality control such a continuing issue with Raise3D? It has been since day 1 and continues to be. I purchased my N2 Plus a year ago. I've spent the better part of that time test printing and tweaking things and unclogging and replacing hot ends. I've had limited success with usable prints. I...

Re: second clogged extruder, poor support. Disappointed and calling it quits

I am away from my desk for the rest of the day. I responded to michael.p@ Raise3D to whatever message you sent telling me I had to purchase a new hot end. I'm not really interested in he said she said at this point, I am just looking to either resolve this or return it and move on. For 4,000.00 i wo...

Re: second clogged extruder, poor support. Disappointed and calling it quits

I emailed directly with Mike P. When filling the ticket for the first clogged hot end and was told I'd need to purchase another.

second clogged extruder, poor support. Disappointed and calling it quits

I wanted to be impressed with Raise3D, really. The build volume and dual extrusion of the N2 Plus were the most attractive features of this printer, but if the printer doesn't work, they're useless. After clogging one nozzle printing Raise3D filaments with default settings, I disassembled it for cle...

Re: Grinding filment = clogged extruder

"By any means" doesn't give me a lot to go on. Now of course, the barrel is broken. I first attempted to simply reinstall the head, so I could heat it up and just extrude the rest of the plastic, but the heating rods would not reseat properly. When I attempted to do so, they were misaligne...

Re: Grinding filment = clogged extruder

The nozzle is stuck really good, probably due to melted filament. Despite some pretty good torque it's beginning to strip the brass.

Any other suggestions? I'd hate to sacrifice a nozzle used only a dozen times.

Thanks

Re: Grinding filment = clogged extruder

I was able to get the hot end off pretty easily... the heat sink looks to be a single piece of aluminum however and is still attached. Now there is a piece of filament stuck in the tube..

Can I just stick the whole thing in the oven at 250 to get the filament out?

Thanks for the great support.

Grinding filment = clogged extruder

I have had pretty good results with R2D Standard PLA thus far until now. R3D Black was excellent, but I have had all sorts of warping, stringing and failure to stick with R3D white. I walked away from a print for some dinner and came back to a clogged extruder grinding filament: IMG_20180123_1913450...

Re: New N2 Plus Setup

Hello. I submitted a ticket, sent in a video of the noise, unscrewed the bearings retightened them and now the vibrations seem to be gone, however in following the tech's instructions to loosen the bearing blocks, one of the screws was missing. I informed him of that at 9:00 last night and offered t...

Re: New N2 Plus Setup

Hello. I reprinted the 20mm sample box and shot a short video of the X-axis vibrations. They begin at about 10 seconds. I don't see an option for uploading video and it failed as an attachment, so here's a link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=15w0E8KJfuApOpuu6vJp_yIjaLpvT7iM0 Thanks for your suppo...

Re: New N2 Plus Setup

The print quality is excellent.

The first print didn't stick - operator error.

Second was perfect.

I'll try to capture a video of the noise.

Thanks for the support

Re: New N2 Plus Setup

Thanks, that's what I needed. I found that when I removed the fan, the set screw for the right nozzle was loose, which is obviously why that nozzle was lower. It's the proper height now. Which raises the question, why should I need to check any bolts or screws on a factory-new unit? After getting th...

New N2 Plus Setup

Hi. New owner of an N2 Plus delivered yesterday and I would like to offer some feedback. Everything looks great, but for $4,000.00, one would expect it to be ready to print right out of the box. On my dual nozzle setup, the right (idle) nozzle is lower than the left one. So, how do I adjust that? Is...
