Touchscreen not working on Pro2

Hi Guys, I feel like a fool because I had an N2 Plus that had it's touchscreen go out and now I have a Pro2 with the same issue. After a 1 week vacation, I came back and powered on the printer and the touchscreen would not respond at all. No amount of reboots (silver button on back) or power cycles ...

Re: RaiseTouch not updating

Hi Vicky, I tried every version from 0.9.11 to current. Nothing seems to trigger the update. I tried 3 different usb 2.0 sticks formatted as FAT32. I’ve only had 1 version of the raisepack in at a time. I tried the full printer power off then power back on method and the restart from the settings me...

RaiseTouch not updating

Hey guys, I'm back! I picked up a new (to me) Raise 3D N2 Plus with a few quirks I need to get ironed out. The biggest issue right now is that it is stuck on RaiseTouch 0.9.7, and I am trying to update it to the latest. I've formatted the USB 2.0 disk to FAT32 and I made sure to put the raisepack fi...

Re: Error: thermal runaway... Now both extruders unresponsive

Ribbon cable has one-year free warranty. If you purchased your printer at Sep., 2017, you should can get a free ribbon cable if you have a defective one. Please advise me your ticket number, I will double check with the technician for you. Both of my printers are still in warranty and I sent proof ...

Re: Recruiting and Selecting RaiseCloud Closed Beta Testers

I will say this, probably the one thing I consider good that Raise 3D has going is cloud. It might not be perfect, but I've yet to find a major problem or something I hated. I really hope some of you get to try this out, it solves some of the remote access problems over the internet VS local networ...

FS: Mosaic Palette+ *BNIB*

*** SOLD!!! *** Hi Guys, I'm selling my Brand new in the box Mosaic Palette+. Reason for sale is because I do not have the time to set it up or dial it in. It was purchased from Matterhackers back in January of this year at the $799+tax price. I am letting it go for $620 shipped. I have no pictures ...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

just to point out. unless you mod your printer like I have mine. you are pulling hot air from inside the printer to cool your print. even with my mod, I'm not sure if it fully prevents the outside edges from heating. likely you want to mount the pump outside of the enclosure to pull colder air in. ...

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

Jetguy, that was my observation too, I am re-printing the clamps that hold the pipe so that it comes in from the side and minimizes contact with the heat block. I will report back with my findings.

Best,

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

Out of curiosity, can you feel the air coming out of the Berd? Is it hot? I did that earlier, the air coming out of the ring is pretty damn hot (I can't keep my hand under the nozzle for more than 2-3 seconds). I'm not sure how it's heating up with the silicone sock on though. I'm all out of ideas....

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

So I did what I said I’d do and ended up with worse quality print. It’s as if the aluminum ring is conducting heat and passing it into the print.

Re: First day, worst case ... injury

Knives are sharp too but you don't see chefs cutting themselves on them. You should always exercise caution around what is essentially a sheet of glass with a sticker attached to it. As for adjusting the bed height, it's the same as every other 3D printer on the market. You level your bed and then u...

Re: First day, worst case ... injury

In the US you're free to try and sue for this little cut, but I guarantee you'll be laughed out of the courtroom. You need to calibrate your z-height as parts should release from the buildtak (after cooldown) with only gentle pressure. I have plenty of gouges in my buildtak from being stupid myself....

Re: Berd-air print quality issue

Alright, here's my gameplan: 1) Throw out the Y-splitter and cool just the primary nozzle for now, as I hardly use dual-extrusion. 2) Put the sock back on. 3) Shorten the yellow tube as much as possible. 2 questions though: 1) Does the Berd-Air pump need active cooling (a fan blowing at the motor)? ...

Just ran another print. It looks great except this one side. The same profile on the opposite side looks fantastic.
