Re: half of the touch screen does not work

I had half my screen stop responding to touch now all of it does not respond. The price for a new screen is absolutely ABSURD!!!!!! For others that have this ... you prob figured this out already but you can plug in any usb mouse and it works. The screen is rotated so using the mouse can be tricky. ...

filament run out sensor mounting

Hello, Had the run out sensor for a while now and it is working fine but it will not stay firmly mounted to the machine. I am using the new STL file Raise 3D provided and mount it with the strongest 3M mounting tape I can find. It hold for a while but then becomes loose and the sensor and mounting b...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

Thanks John I saw that and hope to do what you say - in fact I just ordered that bit :-)

Just wanted to get Raise to be aware and see what they say - You seemed like a lone wolf here and I just agree so much wanted to get some more push behind a manufacturer fix...

Thanks and Print on!

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

Hello again, So I did get my sensor working properly as I mentioned in previous posts. I did print the new back cover and it does align better but does not seem to stick tio the case very well - not really enough contact between case and the new plastic design - so the sticky tape can hold firm - bu...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Add-on

I had similar issues but no feed failures. I noticed the drag on the filament is way too strong. It is from the crazy angle that the tubes have to bend when you mount the sensor on the printer. It actually bends and creases the Bowden tubes. How do I know this? I removed my sensor because of this an...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

Ok I get it. That is different than I have been running my N2 And different than the setup videos. So right side spool feeds into right side of sensor and then feed it to left print head. Just strange to switch like this when inhave always run with spools feeding respective sides like the set up vid...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

OK, I think we have confusion here still... BUT I WORKS! SO I got it to work by swapping the white/green wires - They are now attached with the opposite of the N@ directions that I have. The Green is on the left and the white is on rhe right - opposite of the picture I posted above. This is when loo...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

Ok I think we have a documentation issue The N1 instructions show the greens and white wire reversed from the N2 install instructions. I uploaded my install pics above and they are in the correct place according to the N2 install documentation But it does not work I will bet if I swap them, it may w...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

OK, looks like the new touch firmware may fix this.... I dont think that was published till just now.... Trying it now... Not sure what you mean by left/right side filament... When facing the printer sppols - Left is left and right is right... I assume - and that is how I have been doing it for mont...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

SO, on another note.... I was able to get up and running again as I had some lengths of bowden tube laying around (I believe they were the long ones that came with the printer in case of using softer filaments) - I cut them to size as they were the same diameter as the ones in the kit just too long....

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Install Problem

Having real trouble with mine too ----- but for different reason. Getting the tube length correct on the bottom side (inside the printer) is a real issue.. It may be my brass fittings that are making this so difficult. For some reason - even when pressing and holding the blue tabs the tube will not ...
