Re: WHERE is Jetguy?
My guess is that he has moved on. 90% of the posts now are on the Plus models which he doesn't own so can't be of much help. This is also what happened when Makerbot went closed source, he was very active until most of the posts where about the new machines which he didn't own and due to closed sour...

Re: Loads of New Exciting Updates available for download
Next you get updates often than with IM, and you get new features also. ... Let’s talk about facts. I have used simplify 3D since it came out in 2013 and like it a lot but this statement is way off, S3D is by far the slowest among slicers in their updating cycle (they haven't had an update in a yea...

Re: Polymaker Polysher or Pallette 2?
Their cloud software is still in development, but you can still use Chroma as with the current Pallete+. I currently use Simplify 3D and Chroma for my Palette plus prints on my Raise N2+ and it works quite well. I don't think Ideamaker can be used because you can't pick the tool for each stl. The cu...

Re: Printing using Raise3D, with a 0.2mm nozzle, and 1.75 filament
0.2 is an extremely small nozzle and depending on the filament (which you didn't state) it may not work at all. As a newbie you should probably master printing with a 0.4 nozzle first, work you way to a 0.3 which is challenging enough and may give you the detail you are looking for without going sma...

Thanks for your work on updating this. Just curious what your motivation was for dropping this since one can be used in a pinch if the Raise touchscreen fails.

Can you post the stl file and the graphics file that you are using? If so I can see if I can get it to work with your exact use case.

I watched the video and you had extruder color selected, you need speed selected.

Re: Velocity painting did you try it?
Jetguy is right, so the center should be x=152.5 and y=152.5 if you slice something in the center of the bed.

Re: Velocity painting did you try it?
I have done quite a bit of velocity painting on my N2+ using both simplify 3d and IdeaMaker. Is there a particular part of the process you are stuck on?

Re: Slicing issue and exclamation point
The big clue is the 363 Non Manifold edges, basically your model has 363 errors in it. With non manifold edges the slicer doesn't really know what the model is supposed to be so it has to guess. In this case Cura's guess matched how you wanted the model but fundamentally this is a modeling issue, no...

Re: issue uploading gcode (ideaMaker 3.0)
I just tried with WinSCP, a 50mb gcode file took 10 minutes to upload so the issue also appears outside of ideaMaker. Please help test this, connecting net cord with computer and screen board directly and use WinSCP to check whether the speed goes up or not. Vicky- I know this is an old thread but ...

I just did what you suggested (in my case put in an old 10/100 switch) and magically all my Ethernet issues disappeared.

I also wanted to throw my thanks in too. I had a print that did not work until I installed ABH version of the firmware to enable Linear advance. The points in the heart before the upgrade all fused together, afterwards it was perfect.

Re: How come there is no review of the PRO2 from professional 3D printer reviewer?
I'm pretty sure the 3d maker noob has one in his possession (his website http://3dmakernoob.com/)
You do realize that to do a proper review requires using the machine for several weeks and these things just came out.

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?
I use a flash drive because sadly it is faster to copy a 20mb file to the flash drive, walk down the basement stairs, and plug it in than to transfer over Ethernet.

I do hope you are removing the glass build plate from inside the printer and spraying it away from the printer insides, there have been some users that spray the plate while it is inside the printer, giant mistake! and what an awful sticky gummy mess it makes of the moving components and electronic...

Re: Adhesion Issues
A picture of what you are seeing would be very helpful for us in trouble shooting. I sometimes see this when I am over extruding or have the bed to close to the nozzle for the first layer (the plastic has no where to go so it pushes up the plastic laid down next to it causing the waves).

Re: Limitations of spiral/vase mode
In my experience up to 45 degrees should be no problem, 45-60 usually OK, over 60 depends on filament, temperature, layer height and what not.
I believe you can specify at what angle you want supports in ideamaker, of course you can't use supports in spiral mode.

I'm having the same issue on my N2+. I don't know when it started and I haven't spent much effort figuring out the why but I am also getting the retract on every begin and end line.
