Re: what cameras work on n 2plus

I'm guessing only the official Raise camera is supported by Ideamaker.

Re: Viewing Camera Feed

As the camera feed appears to be an API call, I suspect you will need that enabling. I also used WireShark to capture the conversation between the printer and Ideamaker. This found the credentials I needed, which I used to form the URL: "http://raise3d_camera:3c95745ca9cd4bab9b2a0b7cfffa8458@19...

Re: Viewing Camera Feed

[quote="3d4you"]Hi,

I installed my camera yesterday. And asked myself the same question. So I started Wireshark while running camera on ideaMaker.

Wireshark! Excellent suggestion. Dunno why I didn't think of that. ;)

Re: Viewing Camera Feed

According to the API documentation, there IS a camera server running on port 30216.

Browsing to it pops up an authentication panel. Does anyone know the default username & password??

Re: Viewing Camera Feed

I won't be exposing any devices on my network to a cloud provider, but thanks anyway.

Viewing Camera Feed

Hi there,

can the camera output be viewed directly through a browser, or only via IdeaMaker?

Thanks.

Re: API Documentation

Making some progress in that I'm now getting an API error back: For example, assuming my SSH password is - mysecretpassword (I can successfully SSH to the printer using this password.) Using an online epoch converter gives me a timestamp of - 1541075165000 Entering - password=mysecretpassword&ti...

API Documentation

Hi there firstly, thanks to Raise3d for implementing an API. This will be of great use for those wanting to monitor their printers from third party applications. However, the documentation, while appearing comprehensive is not very clear. All the example calls show how a token is needed to retrieve ...

Camera Installation

Has ANYONE with normal human adult sized hands managed to install the damned camera? "Drag the end of the cable out from the hole under cable chain with tweezers" - yeah right. Raise, a right angled USB cable would have been of far more use, and caused less blood loss. I'll have another tr...

Re: Raise3D-printers compatible with Astroprint?

Another upvote for external monitoring for the N2+ please, either via API (ideally), or a web interface that can be "scraped" to collect data.

API?

Hi there,

is there any API for the N2 / N2+ or even a web interface that can be accessed through XML, JSON or similar?

I'm interested in retrieving sensor data (temperatures, head & bed location, extruder data, etc) by an external tool.

Cheers.

Glueing, Filling & Painting

Hi all, just finished a 16 hour print that needs some finishing touches. I now need to 1) glue a couple of Raise3D PLA pieces to some styrene plastic and 2) fill a couple of small gaps in the PLA. Suggestions for an appropriate glue and filler would be welcome please. Also, can I expect acrylic prim...

Can't power off

Hi all, I sucessfully tested my new N2+ with the 20mm calibration square. Only problem is I now can't turn the printer off. The screen just stays in a flicker loop. One suggestion was to use the reset button to power off the screen. The screen blanks when the button is pressed in, as soon as I relea...

Re: Packaging

No, the transparent acrylic "lid" of the printer. it's wedged into polystyrene packing piece like it's been fused. I guess I'll have to slice the styrene.

Manual

Hi all,

silly question, but where are the instuctions?

The quick start guide is helpful for assemble but other than that...? I assumed there would be a detailed PDF guide on the USB stick, but I don't see anything.

Cheers,

I.

Packaging

Guys,

any hints on how to remove the N2 Plus cover without damaging the polysterene packaging? Between the vacuum tight fit and the static charge, it's almost inpossible to separate them.

Cheers,

I.
