Re: Turn the Heat Bed Off or Lower the BED Temp

I've found (and let me qualify my statement by saying that I've only been doing 3D printing for a few months) that if I'm running a large piece and I turn the bed temp down after it's printed a couple centimeters high, the piece ends up pulling away from the bed as things cool. So I try to resist t...

Re: Filament grinding always at this part of print

Yep, running with the lid off worked. I also slowed things down to 1000mm/min and sliced using Simplify3D. I'm probably going to try upping the speed again, and then going back to IdeaMaker to see if it's strictly the lid change that made the difference. How about adjusting how much you are retract...

Re: Turn the Heat Bed Off

I don't think you can actually turn the heat bed off, but you absolutely can modify it. On the touch screen if you tap on the temperature circle, there should be an up and down arrow that pops up which allows you to set a new temperature from that point to the end of the print. You can modify it at...

Re: Raft Sticking

When I notice my raft is sticking to the bottom of my prints, I lower the temp of the first layer to of the printing model about 10 degrees. I then raise it to the normal temp desired for printing.

Turn the Heat Bed Off or Lower the BED Temp

I am curious if anyone has any consult or suggestions... I always print with Raft (PLA or ABS) and have great success. Sometimes on long prints (of ABS only) the model warps a little and pulls away from the raft on the corners... Printing ABS, I am thinking I should be able to lower the bed temp fro...

Re: Ramp to Print Surface in Raft Printing??

Has anyone else noticed in the new IM software, the print head seems to "ramp down" to the proper print height while printing rafts vs just descending to the proper layer height before extrusion starts? Why is this happening?? This has been the case for every print with Raft I've see with...

Re: Filament jamming/slipping

Is the filament tube attached? The through the push to connect? Or, is the filament just loosely going from the spool through the printer into the feedpath?

Need the tube.

N2 Series Parts List

Is there a complete N2 (Dual) Series parts list available?

Or, perhaps an Assembly drawing?

Your price point alone with the quality and size of print from an N2 is far better than the still young pro2 series...

I'm shocked and disappointed.

Is the N2 Sold Out Because it is No Longer Being Made?

Did I miss something, or is the N2 being obsoleted for the Pro series?

Re: Rounds are no longer round

With SolidWorks, a more advanced modeling software than Inventor, the output has a option controls for resolution tolerance, type, UoM, and etc. Perhaps Inventor has a setting that is file specific?
