In case you are like me and have N2 printer and were wondering about differences between them, I've came to Raise3D booth and made a short video of things I've observed:

Re: Bad adhesion of Buildtak
From my experience it is better to turn buildtak down and to print directly on the glass with the thin layer of glue. It works like a charm for any filament like ABS, PLA, Nylon and so on.
Once you've got glass bed buildtak is really unnecessary.

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
just as firesped has suggested I've modified Bondtech extruder lid design to take push-in fitting:

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
you need to heat it up so it expands to fill. personally I think if I could modify some of the designs, I would add the quick releases, like are found on the printers versus the current design. You are right, it looks like this tube shrunk that filament can hardly move inside of it, so outside diam...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Guiding tube on right extruder started to come out from the holding mechanism, nothing seems to help to keep it there. Do you know about any easy fix for it?

Tx thruster so, it's the same brand but not the same material... ninjaflex is simply callled ninjaflex ? and "cheetah" a ninjaflex version more easy to print with ? are there some tips to print with ? i've only tried ngenflex in flexible materials... I'm having very good success with semi...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
I have been trying to get a good print with the right extruder using the mini and eSun ABS+. I cannot seem to get rid of the blobs that appear on the inside and outside of the print at the start of each line printed. Did you try to adjust retraction speed? In my case this is what help. Also not sur...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Thanks a lot to Bondtech for providing example of the factory file, I've printed it and got very good result for the box, then I even increased speed and it was still a very good result. Then I've printed several objects with these settings and result was not bad either, it had one z scar, probably ...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
How do I get rid of all this z scaring. It seems to over extrude on layer changes or create a gap. I tried different heats, randomized layer starting positions, changed speeds, changed firmware. Kinda stuck. Any help would be great. Thanks! I have exactly the same issue with prints made with right ...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
I can't seems to be able to get good results with RIGHT extruder? Is it because I'm using stock firmware (M92 E140)?
@firespread - should I use some of your firmware?

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
I've been testing this fan adapter I've showed and it seems to help with PLA issue I've had, so I didn't experience melted filament inside of the housing so far. On the other hand, I'm having hard time to find good settings for PETG (HDGlass) for the right extruder, I'm already at 10mm retraction wi...

How to compile firmware in OSX (MacOS) ?
I wanted to try to compile Raise3D firmware for N2 but it seems to fail. It seems to look for something in User folder jenkins which is not my user folder. I'm not yet very familiar with Arduino environment and hope that it is ok to ask here for a little bit of guidance of How to start with it. I've...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Yep, if I printed with both doors opened it worked with 0.6V but then I had issues that it didn't seem to have enough of force and I always had some weird clogging issues with my right extruder which I primarily use for hard filaments and left is always loaded with TPU kind of filaments. After I've ...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Before you start modding away have you turned down stepper driver voltage to 0.5v? I use 0.5v at work and 0.6 volt at home and i have no problems with heat or tourqe with PLA and ABS. I have printed many long prints around 25-50 hours mark. Yep, I've started with 0.6V as described in the manual and...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
@firesped, I also thought that best will be if this whole box will be metal then there won't be issue with heat in the first place. But if to go with plastic probably best way is to install fan so it will blow directly on the gear. Is there STEP file for this cover, so we can easily modify it or sho...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Guys, if stepper motor gets to hot heat will transfers from the driveshaft to the drivegear and soften the plastic causing the problems in the picture above. I print with PLA on 3 differenet printers almost every day with PLA and i never get any problems after tuning down voltage to 0.6 volt. I eve...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Did you check temperature of stepper motor? Mine were around 80C. Too hot to handle comfortably, which surprised me. Did you set your stepper motor driver to 0.6V? I had it set before to 0.6V but it still melted PLA so I've brought it back to 0.8V and put some USB fan inside of the case and now it ...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/734/31554184771_53ca6e9005_b.jpg I have recently switched to using PETG, which is my new favourite filament. But sometimes this happens, often an hour or so into the print. I have tried increasing the temperature. The nozzle is not blocked. If I cut away the buckled fi...
