Re: Board Error: Error Sensor: TO

I have sent ticket to support. Yes, the option Record serial logs to local storage in background is enabled. I 3D printed small 5x5x5 mm cube on the Right Extruder with no issues. I also printed single layer small print on the Right Extruder and again the extruder started cooling down after purging ...

Re: Not consistent extrusion pattern perpendicular to Y axis, wavy diagonal lines

I have installed the new coupling. The problem is gone. So if you have similar symptoms check coupling on the correlated axis

Re: Filamentive clicking and not printing

Probably wrong temperature of the nozzle. If the temperature is set correctly maybe there is a hardware or software issue so the nozzle is actually colder. If you have thermal couple or thermal camera you can check if the actual nozzle temperature matches the temperature represented on the screen. I...

Re: Board Error: Error Sensor: TO

I will do. It might take for a while though, we are currently waiting a coupling to be replaced on the printer. Thank you for response.

Re: Not consistent extrusion pattern perpendicular to Y axis, wavy diagonal lines

Alright, good news, it looks like I found the source of this issue. I decided to disengage the Y stepper motor to figure out where that squeaking noise came from and found the aluminum coupling of the Y motor is completely cracked and split on 2 halves. With disengaged Y motor the Y motion is silent...

Re: Not consistent extrusion pattern perpendicular to Y axis, wavy diagonal lines

Just checked all the rods with indicator. Maximum fluctuation was from 0 to 0.04 mm which is +/-0.02mm run out in center of the rods. At the rod bases run out was +/- 0.01 mm maximum. For me it looks like the bearings are good and the rods are pretty straight. https://i.ibb.co/ZgBvmqz/IMG-20200210-1...

Not consistent extrusion pattern perpendicular to Y axis, wavy diagonal lines

Hello, we have Raise 3D Pro2 Plus 3D Printer and we have issue with not consistent extrusion pattern with infill lines perpendicular Y axis and with wavy diagonal lines. I'm not sure when it started to print like this. Recently I noticed the 3D printer lays diagonal lines infill pattern with dens an...

Re: Board Error: Error Sensor: TO

Update: I ran a G-code for a part we printed successfully before and the 3D printer started printing it without temperature issues. So it seems to me there is a temperature related glitch in the system which appears for some type of geometry or something.

Re: Board Error: Error Sensor: TO

Update: it consistently starts dropping nozzle temperature after starting purging the filament before printing without reflecting it on the screen. I captured video of this issue https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AVIMyz7Vs9GZnaTYFgSqSDK06ufnJR5J/view?usp=sharing Here is the test print G-code I genera...

Thank you. Here is the serial log file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WLnHmQwUn4M-zQMZ51GtTdHqpiQKrVQW/view?usp=sharing I also performed short test print today with PLA not related to this issue and found the filament jammed withing 10 sec after starting print work. So I took the thermal camera ag...

They are loose on our Raise 3D Pro2Plus 3D printer too. Leave them as is.

Board Error: Error Sensor: TO

Hello. After a year of trouble free work our Raise 3D Pro2Plud 3D printer ran in to the issue. We printed big part overnight out of PLA and this morning I found it stopped printing in the middle of the work and displayed Board Error: Error Sensor: TO message on the screen. https://i.ibb.co/dJvjcwv/I...

Some of you asked the cable holding bracket CAD model. Here is zip archive with STL file and X_T file of this bracket

Any pictures?

I'm planning to print big parts with 3DXMAX® Polycarbonate black on Raise 3D Pro2plus - pretty expensive PC filament for some reason. Will see how it will work.

Re: Major Shift Mid Print

I do not think Raise3D pro2Plus can skip steps without braking the part or the printhead. Our 3D printer was able to tear the big part off the print tray when the part warped and interfered with the printhead. Also I saw on this forum some Raise3D pro2Plus printers brake the printhead during interfe...

Re: Lowering Print Platform during Filament Reload

This is issue not after printing a few layers but after printing less than 20-40 mm height at least. This is also issue after printing unlimited amount of layers if the part is big or close to the nozzle purge corner.

Re: Lowering Print Platform during Filament Reload

Same here. I hate it. I'm surprised such expensive 3D printed has so poor designed software. It does not lower platform on filament change, or when ran out of filament, or when loading and unloading filament. Open source cheap 3D printers are much much smarter and user friendly in terms of control p...

Re: Questioning Pro2 Product Quality - Ongoing Issues

We had Raise 3D Pro 2 Plus for about a year. Major issues: - Jammed filament due to bad connection with temperature sensor on the controller board and lack of software algorithm to detect such issue (we fixed it with special bracket to hold the wire and prevent plug wiggling). Minor issues: - Some b...
