Any pictures?

I'm planning to print big parts with 3DXMAX® Polycarbonate black on Raise 3D Pro2plus - pretty expensive PC filament for some reason. Will see how it will work.

Re: Major Shift Mid Print

I do not think Raise3D pro2Plus can skip steps without braking the part or the printhead. Our 3D printer was able to tear the big part off the print tray when the part warped and interfered with the printhead. Also I saw on this forum some Raise3D pro2Plus printers brake the printhead during interfe...

Re: Lowering Print Platform during Filament Reload

This is issue not after printing a few layers but after printing less than 20-40 mm height at least. This is also issue after printing unlimited amount of layers if the part is big or close to the nozzle purge corner.

Re: Lowering Print Platform during Filament Reload

Same here. I hate it. I'm surprised such expensive 3D printed has so poor designed software. It does not lower platform on filament change, or when ran out of filament, or when loading and unloading filament. Open source cheap 3D printers are much much smarter and user friendly in terms of control p...

Re: Questioning Pro2 Product Quality - Ongoing Issues

We had Raise 3D Pro 2 Plus for about a year. Major issues: - Jammed filament due to bad connection with temperature sensor on the controller board and lack of software algorithm to detect such issue (we fixed it with special bracket to hold the wire and prevent plug wiggling). Minor issues: - Some b...

Re: Left Extruder jams

It might be famous bad temperature sensor socket issue. We had filament jam issue all the time until we designed and built special bracket to hold the sensor wires still so they will not wiggle the socket interrupting contacts. After this fix the issue completely had gone. https://i.ibb.co/vsFWYT1/I...

Re: Tray Size

OK, good news - we printed the 12"x12" part with no issues. So yes just set the border offset to 0. There is no any mechanical interference I noticed during full stroke printer work. The printer has necessary margin. https://i.ibb.co/2Mx67Mx/IMAG2381.jpg https://i.ibb.co/M9NNWVg/IMAG2382.j...

Re: Tray Size

Can you print the part in two or more pieces? You can bond the pieces together after - not sure what the part is for or if it will be under any stresses. You can print in ABS and solvent weld them with just acetone. -john Yeah, If there is no way to fit 12"x12" part I will take some mater...

Re: Tray Size

It looks like setting perimeter border offset to 0 should work.

By the way, when I move the print head using touch pad controller it moves to 0mm-0mm, 0mm-305mm, 305mm-305mm and 305mm-0mm coordinates with no issues without interfering with anything.

Re: Tray Size

Thank you for the respond. In this case they should not advise the printer build size is 12"X12" or 305mm x 305 mm. They should correct the wrong information they posted and say the build size is 300mm x 300 mm or 11.8"x11.8".

Tray Size

Hello, We have Raise3D Pro 2 Plus 3D printer and we have a problem with placing 304.8mm x 304.8mm x 46.9mm part in the IdeaMaker program. The program says the part is too big. But according the 3D printer specification it should be capable to print 12"x12"x24" parts. It looks like the...
