I have to wonder why the change?

I seem to remember, when my LH Extruder was out of action, being able to print with my Pro2 using the RH Extruder only. Maybe it's just old age but I can't find the appropriate settings with ideaMaker 4.2.3.5689. Has ideaMaker been 'improved' in the last upgrade, or am I just missing something?

Let us think out loud.
What if Raise3D supplied the Hotend Blocks already coated? (That is, of course, without raising the exorbitant price they charge for them now! )

When you say 'Load/Unload' are you including 'Print' ? If so, would it not be more clear if you called in 'Minimum Extrusion Temperature' ? That is, of course, if that is what you mean?

Two further lines of investigation. I decided to get at lease some work done by using only the RH Extruder - the one which has continued to work. I created the attached template to achieve that end. (I use 0.8 mm nozzles.) To my surprise NEITHER of the extruders works. Hmm! :( That wasn't much use. ...

Firmware loaded okay - it's the other file that does nothing.
Here are three JPEGs of the extruder change assembly. This one was just in case there was some disbelief that the extruders work okay when Load ing.

Figuring that if the extruders worked okay when loading then there is nothing mechanical stopping printing I came to the conclusion that the problem must be in the software (actually firmware). One other thing: when the extruders are heated above the set minimum temperature I cannot make them go up and down using the Touchscreen. They work just fine from the gCode but not from the Touchscreen.
