Re: Simplify3D N1 Support?
Thanks Jet! I will try this tomorrow when I am in front of the printer. I have never had any luck since I bought this printer and its been a really depressing purchase. I have a Makergear M2, and that has been so consistent and problem free that I use that as my main printer, even though I want to g...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
How do I get rid of all this z scaring. It seems to over extrude on layer changes or create a gap. I tried different heats, randomized layer starting positions, changed speeds, changed firmware. Kinda stuck.
Any help would be great. Thanks!

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Hi all! So I purchased and installed a Bondtech extruder for my N1. After some unsuccessful prints, I decided to print a benchy and look towards the community for help. I am using PLA and I took a screenshot of all my settings. I added "M92 E140" to the GCode and thats it, no firmware or v...

Re: S3d with N1 support? Idea maker minimum dimensions?
Oh my, it was there but the part was so small! lol Thanks for that. Any way to use idea maker to remotely push the file to the printer? I have the upload feature but for some reason under printer there is nothing on the drop down. I have verified that I can connect to the printer using the "con...

S3d with N1 support? Idea maker minimum dimensions?
Hi everyone. I have an N1 and trying to see if there is any simplify3D support for it?
I am trying to import a file in idea maker but it says that the part is too small. Is there a way to fix this rather than auto scaling and then down scaling?

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
Using the red roll was always known to work. The problem is any filament OTHER than Raise3D does NOT work. That is not acceptable..... :/

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
Nothing seems to be working to fix this damn issue lol I looked at other peoples fixes, it seems like with retraction the gear just doesn't catch anymore. If I make it too tight, then the filament doesnt pass through.

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
In the box of accessories, they provided a .2mm feeler gauge in a little baggie.

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
Adjusting the plate didnt help. I am watching this closely. The gear slips. Like there is too much pressure. I released it a bit, trying again.

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
Thanks for the input. I tried manually shifting the motor all the way to the left and the filament wouldnt pass through, the motor gear just skipped and jolted. I am testing out reducing strain on the plexiglass cover and seeing if that helps any. Would suck to buy a $2000 printer just to buy an aft...

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
I am using 215 for the heat. The roll has a sticker on it that says 200-230C. Yes same PLA template in IdeaMaker. Only thing I change is adding an additional wall layer and increasing the bed temp to 60C because I am using glass. I am assuming this is the V2 extruder? Also a note, You should probabl...

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
Default Ideamaker settings yes. I used the Raise3D filament at first and things seemed to be okay, I havent gone back to it though. I use many different types of filament brands on my MakerGear M2 and it works fine. I have an engineer looking over the printer and he is amazed that this printer does ...

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
Cleaned barrel with long push stick thing, still fails. Trying with less tension on the plastic tubing that feeds into the extruder, doubt that will help though.

Re: Jamming issues and other stuff
The jamming is starting to happen when I start doing retraction... I am trying to troubleshoot this. I moved the gears closer but still nothing.

Jamming issues and other stuff
I just recieved my printer yesterday. I have the N1 edition. I am pretty disappointed so far in the quality and slightly upset and hopefully can find some recourse and understanding so I will try not to display any irateness. Issues: -I tried a few different PLA rolls from different companies. they ...
