My printer connects, but refuses to accept uploads

SO my PRO2 is attached to the network, and I can even log in to it from my PC across the network to see the bed temperature and controls. however, I cant seem to upload any print files to it. When I try, it simply shows me a "upload waiting" window forever. I even tried switching from my 5...

Supports floating above rafts... (by design?)

I know that supports are not supposed to be squished on to your part because then they would trash your surface finish. However that support gap setting seems to be applying itself to rafts; even though we WANT supports stuck hard to that. As a result when I place supports below my part, they physic...

Getting good "squish" on first ABS+ layer...

Im printing with ABS+ (eSun) on LokBuild and love it, when that first layer works anyway. I understand you really want to squish that first layer down to get good contact area but it seems like the software complete ignores my first layer settings in the slicer. I've dropped the first layer height t...

tja wrote:Mostly correct. Before step #3, you need to set the left extruder to the filament type, so that you can select the appropriate slicing template, even though you are only going to use the right extruder. ...

Thanks for the response, Are you referring to the filament and printer settings area?

Just curious, what is the proper process to follow when you want to print your parts out of ONLY the right extruder (ie different color) Here are the steps I am thinking I need to follow; am I setting this up properly? -import models -set models to right nozzle -launch slicer, click advanc...

What would you adjust in the settings to fix this?

Problem 1: eSun ABS+, bed 110, nozzle 255, Raise3D ABS-"Fast" (slightly modified) While the print head is working on two towers, i get boogers in the corners and pretty wobbly faces along the flats. Once the first tower is complete, however, the walls and corners on the 2nd tower clean up...

Re: More on removing parts with alcohol

Hey John, Are you using eh PEI film or the sheet stock? (what thickness?) Also, are you adhering it with the 3M doublestick or just clipping it in place so you can -flex-release it when its done? PS - I just spent 20 minutes removing my first eSun ABS+ part from the stock buildtak (i had it at 110)....

Any pro-tips for using dissolving supports?

I need to start printing cleaner overhangs and I'm REALLY hoping that using disolvable supports will help with that. Does anyone do this regularly? can you offer an pro-tips? Large ABS+ prints have a hard enough time sticking to build platforms. Is it really going to stick to hips or am I just dream...

Re: ABS Build Surface - PEI? Geckotek?

for anyone interested, it looks like they are die cutting Lokbuild specifically for Raise3D now, I dont see any american distributes yet (hopefully that changes soon) but at least you wont have to waist all that space using a 12x12 square on a much larger platter. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LokBuild-3...

Re: Your favorite ABS

Lots of good info here. Thanks to all, and keep it coming. I'll have a spool of the eSun ABS+ tomorrow and will run it through the initiation process to see what I get. It seems Primaselect is also a no-go for the US. The Apollo X ASA is available on Amazon. Here other pictures of Apollo X ASA and ...
