MK8 Feeder Adapter

Like many of you I've had issues with heat creep and filament getting chewed up. I tried the Bondtech extruder but I didn't get great results. I found a MK8 extruder plate on thingiverse but it wasn't quite right. I made my own version if anyone wants to try it. Its been working out great for me so ...

Re: Thinking of purchasing N2 single

If you are not willing to Tinker then I would say the entry level 3D printers aren't for you. At some point you will have to troubleshoot and fix any 3d Printer you get.

Re: Board Error:: Extruder switched off

this doesn't make any sense. Does the Single extruder ship with 2 thermocouplers? A jumper in place gets the error code to go away but is there any danger to doing this?

How do I do that as the download page doesn't seem to differentiate between the two.

Board Error:: Extruder switched off

I attempted to remove the right extruder by removing the stepper motor, heater rod, thermocoupler, and hot tend. If I don't leave both thermocouplers hooked up I get this error: Board Error:: Extruder switched off. MAX TEMP Tri... Please check Hardware and restart. I switched it to single extruder o...

Raise3D N2 single extruder

Does anyone have a Raise3D N2 single extruder? Is there a different cooling fan with the right extruder missing?

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

I just ordered the Bondtech Mini Raise 2 kit. I Just plan on switching to a single extruder as I don't want to mess with the bowden for the right. Ill be sure to come back in a week or two when I get the kit. I am sure Ill have some questions in the future on the custom firmware etc. A big thank you...

Re: Print fan shroud/ duct at 90 degrees for strength

I had to reprint mine as they fell apart because the layers weren't bonded well. They also forgot to remove the supports from the air duct.

Battery percentage going down.

So my battery was charged up all the way to 100% after being plugged in for roughly a day. I have had it for 2 weeks now and now the battery percentage is slowing decreasing. It always stays plugged in and on. Whats going on?

I recommend keeping a heating rod and temperature sensor on hand as they are only $5 and will eventually need to be replaced anyways.

Re: Bearing Spool Holder

Theres a lot of them on thingiverse like the one Ballard pointed out. The reason I like this is its small metal and quick adjustable. It also comes with all the hardware and bearings for $10. I started using it on rolls of filament that fit the spool holder because it offers less resistance.
