Re: Looking for TroubleShooting Collaborators

I agree with Zombie and think this is a great idea! Comparing engineering filaments to PLA is apples and oranges. On mobile right now, but will report back on Tuesday (Monday is Holiday here) with my own report. I'm having very similar problems as Brady Wilson was! Still working on a solution, haven...

Re: Pro 3 Hot end spare parts.

This is not "unfortunately". There is no fortune involved here.

Raise3D is choosing to provide poor customer service because of money. It would be trivial to take apart a few fully assembled hotends and part them out for customer RMAs.

Re: NylonX printing on Raise3D Pro V2

You're welcome! Glad I could help.

I've recently become quite frustrated with the technical support so I'm hoping to post here a lot more often to help others who are also running into walls dealing with Raise3D.

Re: "Stay Cool" - Water Cooled Extruder System

Very awesome! I've ben having a lot of heat creep issues on my Pro2+ and both Pro3 we have.

Are these still available? Has anything been developed for the Pro3?

Thanks

Re: Extruder drive gears

Funny thing is they can just 3D print these gears if they really wanted to but I'm pretty sure Raise3D doesn't even use their own printers.

Re: Hotend falls off 2nd time on new printer

Agreed with ccclarke.

I had the same issue, solved it by replacing the collet clamp. Make sure not to overtighten. It doesn't help that Raise3D does not provide a standard torque for this operation.

Re: Is the new Pro 3 stable, and repeatable

I have been very disappointed by both of our Pro3s so far! It works great for simple materials such as PLA. It is NOT reliable for engineering-grade materials for long-term 24+ hour prints. We've been dealing with heat creep issues for close to 3 months now, and Raise3D has been unable to provide a ...

Re: Pro 3 Support and Parts

@Ryan, can you please provide the specs for the cooling fans?

That way customers can do their own informed research on alternatives.

Thank you in advance!

Re: Leak around nozzle

I agree with Eric1960. I've been having a lot of trouble as well with hot ends directly from the factory.

Re: NylonX printing on Raise3D Pro V2

I know Raise3D does not recommend but I've had a lot of success making my own buildplates. Use a bench scraper to remove the buildtak surface or buy a new bed without the buildtak pre-instlled. Purchase this sheet of FR4 (aka Garolite, G10) from McMaster: https://www.mcmaster.com/8667K271/ Or here's...
