Re: Slight Over extrusion at start of external parameter

It's a problem cause by printer. Extruder accelerates much faster then x/y axes so it extrudes more filament at the beginning of line. Similar thing happens on sharp corners or end of line, where x/y axes start to decelerate and extruder still extrudes at full speed. In Marlin firmware there's a fea...

Print shells In Optimal Order vs Shells and Infill Order ??

Which setting takes priority ?? If I have set "Print Shells In Optimal Order" and Shells and Infill Order to Outer->inner->infill, it does not always print outer shells first. Especially when there is on hole in body, it will print one wall with inner shells first. And there is no rule if ...

Re: [BUG][IM 4.2.3] - bug with z-hop at layer change

I have step z-hop for all. But it does not matter.

The way it behaves now is a bug.
It either should be in different order, as I mentioned: up, travel, down, or not performed at all, as now it just a useless up/down moves that doesn't have any purpose.

Re: How to Fix Nozzle Hitting

Your print is curling up due to too much heat.
It needs more cooling and if that doesn't help, slow down printing.

Re: import of stl is extremely small

There is no software that will know what units were used to convert file to stl. Not even Prusa slicer. You can only assume what unit was used. Prusa slicer uses meters as units for very small parts, so import it and scale it 1000x or use any software that can scale stls. As to sldprt files, try usi...

Re: [BUG][IM 4.2.3] - bug with z-hop at layer change

I want it.

If forgot to write, that I think it's in wrong order and should be:
1. move up
2. move to layer start point
3. move down.

You also need to change extrusion width in slicing profile.

[BUG][IM 4.2.3] - bug with z-hop at layer change

It think there's a but with z-hop at beginning of new layer. It moves nozzle up, then down, and then moves to layer start point. example: ;LAYER:1 ;Z:0.720 ;HEIGHT:0.320 ;PRINTING: 10_battery_versiontext_21700.stl ;PRINTING_ID: 0 G1 F2400 E-1.2000 ---> retraction G1 F900 Z1.520 ---> z-hop nozzle up ...

I've also noticed that IM generates jagged support lines that are not perpendicular to X and Y axes, even though it's along straight wall.

Re: [BUG][IM 4.2.3] - ironinig inside model

The model does not matter. It happens with any.
I've attached *.idea file with a 5x5x5cm cube and set per-layer settings form 1-2mm with ironing enabled.
At layer 10 it irons whole layer and it's layer with infill and external side walls only.

Re: Artifact on part, a lip where there shouldn't be

If you're printing material that has significant shrinkage (like ABS), solid parts will shrink more than walls.
More cooling might prevent excessive shrinkage.

Vez3D, check your speed settings. Maybe you have put somewhere 2500 instead of 250 ??

ideaMaker slicing bug 3.3.0.2343, not changing speed after Z hop.

Speed isn't changed after Z hop at the beginning of a layer and printer travels at very low speed.
