Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

Thank you dorbar and I agree about the BondTec or something like it being the default on the Raise3D. It is a must replacement -- even the prior BondTec version 1 is a huge improvement. Martin, Please comment on dorbar's announcement that no wire mod is needed on black motors. What is that about? I...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

@Bondtech Ehhh khm. sorry for bothering... Are you sure about the weight numbers? On your website it says; "Original extruder setup on Raise3D is 890g this new upgrade is 425g and it affects the performance a lot." (http://shop.bondtech.se/ec/upgrade-kits/raise3d/raise3d-dualdirect-upgrad...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

So 200$ for extruder without pancake steppers, right? Hmm a bit steep price. What would be a "full kit" with pancakes? Not sure if I need the PTFE tubes though.. EDIT: Please Maritn (Bondtech) do clarify a bit a text on the prduct page: "This product uses lightweight Nema17 Pancake s...

The right side can of course be emptly of components that would make it a single version (left hotend occupied).
How big interest is it for a single version?

Fantastic! Any word on the the upgrade for those of us who have purchased one or more hybrid assemblies? Hi John, the assembly process of this new extrudersetup is a bit tricky and we must do a guide before we are able to release the kit without the gears that will allow you to use your existing ge...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

As Jetguy says there is now two type of motors in the printers, all new ones will have the black motors, the older will have the silver motors. These two models does not share the same type of connector. Raise3D Motor connectors.JPG On newer printers the the orginal cable from Raise3D will fit direc...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

I have been thinking about getting into dual nozzle printing with some PVA so i can make my prints require less post processing work. Now that martin has made a dual extruder, he is going to cost me more money buying another 4 extruders from him. Jetguy, let me know how you are getting on, and Mart...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

Hi, the SLS parts needs to be reamed to the correct dimension since the suppliers does not get all the unsintered nylon powder out in the deep holes. The hole for the shaft of the secondary gear should be 3.0 mm. The filament channel through the housing is 2.0 mm. Please let me know if you need any ...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

I'll take pictures tonight, complete teardown and install of both N1 and N2, and that covers N2Plus making all 3. I only have the single extruder variant for N1, but that shouldn't matter from the process standpoint. That is fantastic news Jetguy! Thanks for taking your time to do this, i think it ...
