Re: Which setting fixes this issue?

Thanks both for the replies. Z-hop setting did indeed fixed the issue, thanks! I put the number really large (0.5) to be sure it was perfect as it's a large art piece and didn't want even slight imperfections.

Be good to know if layer height should be added though.

Which setting fixes this issue?

Hi,
I'm got my Pro2 all calibrated and working well except for one remaining issue. There are "seams" where the extrusions meet for a given laye and lines where the nozzle repositions itself. What causes this? How can it be fixed?
Thanks,
Brett

Anybody have issues with Everlast nozzle + PLA?

Hi, I've been struggling for more than a week to get my Pro2 calibrated and printing well. Raise3D keeps asking people to print PLA which is what I've been doing and I think that has led me to a theory of why it doesn't work which I wanted to share to get feedback on. The Everlast nozzle is less &qu...

Re: Any ideas what's happening here?

Hi Steven,
See attached pic, the gcode you provided produces a much better result. There is still a small connecting ooze between the line and the start fo the print. Wonder if the gcode could be tweaked to try and prevent that?
Cheers,
Brett

Re: Any ideas what's happening here?

Steven, thank you sooooo much. The reply is super helpful and appreciate the reference images (should be in your support docs as reference too?) and the ideaMaker file for calibration. Please do send the gcode that has a purge line as it really makes a huge difference in my tests but I've hacked in ...

Latest firmware version?

Hi,
On the printer is says firmware is 0.1.67 and on your site it's 0.0.66. How can I make sense of this? Where is the latest firmware that's installed in my Pro2?
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Any ideas what's happening here?

Thanks for the files (BTW, is there an STL file or IDEA file for this? I’d like to be able to change extruders, materials, etc. and try those). So I spent 8 hours testing today. I did multiple calibrations, checking both extruders and trying many prints of the calibration. All of them failed in some...

Connect to camera each time?

Hi,
It seems I have to always go to the gear/settings panel, choose camera, tap the camera and hit the ok/checkmark in order to get the camera going each and every time. Is there a way to have the camera always automatically enabled by default, even after restarting?
Thanks,
Brett

I couldn't fix the warnings and errors, but it seems to have printed ok (some odd blemishes during print, but fully printed).

3DBenchy problems?

Hiya,
Continuing to do some test prints and I noticed that the classic 3DBenchy model has issues reported in ideaMaker it can't seem to repair. Curious what the issue is and whether it actually needs solving for a successful print?
Thanks,
Brett

Which profile?

Hi,
Under Printer->Filament Settings... there are multiple Raised3D profiles based on hotted. There is the default, hotend V2 and I believe my Pro2 uses a V3 hotend. I don't see V3 listed and wondering what the difference is between the others?
Thanks,
Brett

Any ideas what's happening here?

Hi, Another test to print a simple thick rectangle using the PLA that came with my printer. The first layer looks pretty good initially and then starts a rippling or stippling effect. Any idea why it would suddenly vary like this? What does it indicate? Given it's in an area could it be there is som...

Re: Feature Request Sw off Hepa Fan

Plus 100 to this. I'm using Pro2 and I would like some way to power off the HEPA fans, ideally via a power saving mode (which also isn't available on Pro2). This printer is super noisy in an office environment.

Also, you should look into a quieter HEPA fan even when it's on. They make quieter fans.
